Lindau
You'll arrive in Lindau on Lake Constance and settle into your accommodation. This is your first night before the cycling adventure begins, so take time to get oriented with the town and prepare your bike and gear for the journey ahead.

- Day 2
Lindau to Oberstaufen
Starting your ride from Lindau, you'll cycle along the Leiblach river where Austria sits just across the border. The route takes you into the hilly Allgäu region, passing scattered farms and small villages nestled between forests and pastures. You'll pedal through Hergenweiler, Maria-Thann, and Rötenbach before reaching Oberstaufen for the evening.

- Day 3
Oberstaufen to Füssen
Today's a longer day with some elevation. You'll cycle around Staufner Berg through the Konstanzer Ach valley past the Alpsee lakes to Immenstadt, then head south along the Iller cycle path to Sonthofen. From there you'll pass Agathazeller Moos and climb toward Rettenberg at Grünten's foot. The highest point on this entire route comes at Memersch (1000m), and you'll continue through Oy-Mittelberg and Maria Rain to Nesselwang. Finish by cycling through forests and fields to Hopfen am See and Füssen with Allgäu Alps views.

- Day 4
Füssen to Bad Kohlgrub
You'll cycle from Hopfen am See or Füssen past Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein castle with Forggensee and Bannwaldsee lakes visible around you. The route passes several more lakes including Schwansee and Alpsee set against mountain backdrops. After Schwangau, you'll continue past Bannwaldsee to Trauchgau, then along country lanes past the Wieskirche church and Wildsteig into the Halbammer valley. The day ends downhill to Altenau, and you'll finish past Altenauer Moor nature reserve via Saulgrub to Bad Kohlgrub, then down to Grafenaschau.

- Day 5
Bad Kohlgrub to Bad Tölz
Starting from Eschenlohe, you'll cycle along the Loisach river and pass Bavaria's largest horse stud farm at Schwaiganger before reaching Kochel am See at Herzogstand's base. The route turns flat through wet meadows of the Loisach moors to Benediktbeuern with Benediktenwand views, then past Bad Heilbrunn between Blomberg and Stallauer Weiher to Bad Tölz on the Isar river.

- Day 6
Bad Tölz to Fischbachau
From Bad Tölz you'll take country lanes and side roads with gentle rolling terrain through Greiling, Reichersbeuern, and Waakirchen to Gmund am Tegernsee. Then you'll head via Hausham and Schliersee to Fischbachau. The afternoon has you cycling around Wendelstein through forests and fields down to the Mangfallebene and Rosenheim region.

Fischbachau to Bergen
You'll cycle slightly downhill through moss to Neubeuern and Altenmarkt am Inn. From Altenmarkt there's a gentle climb via Rohrdorf and later along the A8 to Frasdorf, then down to Aschau im Chiemgau and Bernau at Lake Chiemsee's foot. The route continues between Hochfelln and Hochgern mountains through moors via Grassau to Bergen without major climbs, though expect a small climb between Bergen and Siegsdorf.

Bergen to Berchtesgaden
Starting from Siegsdorf, you'll cycle along the River Traun to Traunstein with a small steep climb. Then you'll continue gently up and down across the plateau to Teisendorf at Teisenberg's base. Following the Ramsaubach stream past Lake Höglwörth without major climbs, you'll head into the Rupertiwinkel to Piding near the Saalach and Bad Reichenhall. After cycling along the Saalach, you'll reach Bad Reichenhall at Latentgebirge's foot on Untersberg National Park's edge, then climb uphill to Bayerisch Gmain. The day ends in a narrow valley between Berchtesgadener Hochthron and Predigtstuhl to Berchtesgaden, roughly 30 minutes by bike from Königssee.
