Itinerary
- Day 1
Horseshoe Bay to Tofino
You'll start your coastal adventure by heading to Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal and boarding a ferry across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island. Once you arrive, there's time to check out Nanaimo's Old City Quarter before stopping at the quirky Old Country Market in Coombs, where you can see the famous rooftop goats. From there, you'll take in the views from Larry Lake Viewpoint and continue on to Ucluelet to see the working harbour. The afternoon involves walking the Wild Pacific Trail, which stretches for 4.4km along rugged coastline. By evening you'll be in Tofino, a popular surf town known for fresh seafood and great sunsets. You can spend your time exploring on your own before checking into your hotel.

Tofino/Ucluelet
You'll wake up to the sunrise on Vancouver Island's West Coast with a free day ahead. Tofino is yours to explore at your own pace, so there are no scheduled activities or set plans. Whether you want to try local restaurants, walk on the beach, catch waves, or just wander around town, you have the freedom to do whatever interests you most.

Landmarks Tofino Town Center - Day 3
Tofino to Vancouver
This morning you'll start with a leisurely walk along Long Beach's sandy shores to get a feel for the coastal atmosphere. From there, you'll drive through Kennedy Lake Provincial Park and make scenic stops along the way. Next you'll head to Port Alberni to see its deep-sea port, which sits surrounded by mountains and fresh-water lakes. After that, you'll explore Nanaimo Harbour with views across the Salish Sea toward the Coastal Mountains. Later in the day, you'll make your way back to Vancouver, bringing your coastal adventure to a close.
