- Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After your morning briefing, you'll head into Tarangire National Park for wildlife viewing. The park's tree savannah is dotted with baobab trees, and you can expect to see massive elephant herds along with giraffes, buffalo, lions, zebras, and various antelopes throughout the day. There's a lunch stop at a picnic spot, then you'll continue game drives in the afternoon before arriving at camp.

Landmarks Tarangire National Park - Day 2
Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast, you'll travel through the cooler crater highlands, passing through Mto Wa Mbu and Karatu on your way. The route takes you to the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint where you get panoramic views of the landscape. After that, you'll descend through Maasai villages heading toward the Serengeti, stopping at Naabi Hill entrance gate for views of the plains before settling into camp in central Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park
You'll spend the entire day on game drives throughout the Serengeti searching for the Big Five and other wildlife. A picnic lunch happens en-route, and depending on the season, you might see the great migration with hundreds of thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and Thompson gazelles moving across the plains. Your guide will position you for the best viewing opportunities throughout the day.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu
An early departure gets you back from Serengeti toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with early morning driving giving you better chances of spotting predators. Lunch comes at a picnic spot along the way. Once you reach the crater rim, you'll descend into the 19 km diameter caldera on an adventurous trail to view the wildlife below. You'll exit via a different road and drive to Karatu in the highlands.
