Itinerary
- Day 1
Catania
Landing at Catania airport, you'll head to your hotel using one of the scheduled transfer times (10:00, 12:30, or 15:30). After settling in, you'll meet your Travel Director at 17:30 for a Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant to kick things off.

- Day 2
Syracuse to Ragusa
Starting in Syracuse with a Local Expert, you'll visit Paradise Quarry and the mysterious Ear of Dionysius grotto. From there, see the remarkable Greek theatre carved directly from rock, then walk through the narrow streets of the Old City on the island of Ortygia. The day continues around southeastern Sicily to Ragusa, where your Travel Director shows you the famous Baroque buildings and churches during an orientation.

- Day 3
Agrigento to Palermo
Traveling along the southern coast past Gela, you'll reach Agrigento. A Local Expert takes you through the Valley of the Temples where you'll see the massive Temple of Concordia and the clifftop Temple of Juno overlooking the sea. After that, you head on to Palermo, the Sicilian capital.

- Day 4
Palermo
In Palermo, you have a choice for the morning: either visit the Arab-Norman Monreale Cathedral with its glittering 12th century mosaics, or join a Local Expert for a walk through the lively local market. This afternoon brings you to Palermo Cathedral to see its unique blend of architectural styles. Later, dinner is on a Dine-Around Evening with several local restaurants to choose from, each offering different ambience and cuisine.

Erice and Trapani
You'll head to the hilltop walled town of Erice, walking through the quiet alleyways and stopping to take in sea views from the gardens near the Castle of Venus. Then comes a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experience at Villa Immacolatella near Trapani, where you'll have a light lunch and taste the island's fresh olive oil and Sicilian wines from this organic farming estate. The evening is free back in Palermo to do what you like.

Cefalu
The day takes you to the fishing town of Cefalu. With your Travel Director, you'll see the imposing cathedral built to fulfill a vow made by Norman King Roger II. After that, you can stroll down to the medieval stone fountain and find the Gothic arch of the Porta Marina for views of the harbor.

- Day 7
Taormina
After breakfast (early risers might understand why D.H. Lawrence called this the 'Dawn Coast of Europe'), you can consider an optional experience through vineyards to Mount Etna. You'll travel to Taormina, clinging to Mount Tauro's side. With a Local Expert, you'll visit the Greek theatre set on a cliff with views through crumbling arches to Mount Etna, then see the Palazzo Corvaja courtyard and walk along Corso Umberto to Piazza IX Aprile. The evening features a Farm-to-Table Celebration Dinner with exquisite Italian wines.
