Athens
You'll arrive in Athens and meet your driver at the airport for the transfer to your hotel. After you get settled in, the rest of the day is yours to explore the city at your own pace. Take some time to walk around your neighborhood, find a good restaurant for dinner, or just relax after your flight.

Athens
Your private driver picks you up for a 4-hour guided tour of ancient Athens. You'll start at the Ancient Agora to see the Temple of Hephaestus and check out the museum there. Then the tour continues with a panoramic route hitting the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Arch of Hadrian, Panathenaic Stadium, and Parliament building. It's a good overview of the city's classical period.

Athens
Today focuses on the Acropolis with a 4-hour guided tour. You'll walk through the famous Parthenon, Temple of Athena Nike, and the Erechtheion with its distinctive Porch of Maidens. After exploring the hilltop site, you head down to the Museum of Acropolis to see artifacts and sculptures from these structures up close.

Athens
This is a longer day, about 7 hours total. You'll spend the morning and early afternoon at Athens' most important museum looking at its collection. Then your driver takes you south along the scenic Athenian Riviera coastline heading to Cape Sounio. You'll visit the Temple of Poseidon perched on the cliff, and if timing works out, you can catch the sunset over the water before heading back to Athens.

Athens to Nafplio
You leave Athens heading toward Nafplio with several stops along the way. First you'll see the Canal of Corinth and then visit the Ancient Corinth archaeological site to walk through the Temple of Apollo ruins. After the Corinth Museum, you take the Cog Railway through Vourakis Canyon to reach Kalavryta and the Cave of Lakes. From there it's on to Nafplio where you'll stay for the night.

- Day 6
Nafplio
After breakfast, you start exploring the ancient sites surrounding Nafplio. Mycenae shows you Grave Circle A and the famous Lion's Gate. Later you head to Tiryns, a UNESCO site, and then to Epidaurus to see its well-preserved ancient theatre. Before returning, you stop at Nemea to visit the archaeological site and try wines at the local cooperative winery.

Nafplio to Sparta
This morning you explore Nafplio itself before heading toward Sparta. You'll visit Palamadi Castle with a stop at Karoni's Distillery Museum to sample local ouzo. Then it's Akronafplia Castle and Bourtzi. You walk through the old town checking out Syntagma Square and the Archaeological Museum. After that, your driver takes you to Sparta for the evening.

Sparta
Starting in Sparta, you see the Acropolis, Temple of Athena, and ancient theatre. You'll also visit the Statue of Leonidas and the Museum of Olive Oil. From there you head to Mystras, a UNESCO site with Byzantine chapels, monasteries, and the impressive Despot's Palace spread across the hillside.

Sparta to Kalamata
You leave Sparta traveling to Aeropolis to explore the Diros Caves, where you'll take boat rides through underground passages past stalactites and stalagmites. Then you drive to Kalamata to visit the Museum of Traditional Costumes before settling in for the night.

Kalamata
This morning you visit Nestor's Palace and the Griffin Warrior Tomb, then check out the Chora Archaeological Museum. Later you head to Methoni to see Pylos Castle and the town itself, including tours of both the old and new sections of the Navarino fortress. You return to Kalamata in the evening.

- Day 11
Kalamata to Olympia
You'll visit the ancient Messene UNESCO site from the 4th century B.C., which gives you a sense of what a classical Greek city actually looked like. Then you drive to Vassae to see the Temple of Apollo Epikurios sitting at 1,130 meters elevation, one of the most isolated ancient temples in Greece. After that, you head on to Olympia.

Olympia to Patras
You spend time at the UNESCO archaeological site of Olympia along with its museum. There's also the Coubertin Monument and the Museum of Olympic Games to see. Later you drive to Patras to visit the Archaeological Museum and St. Andrews Cathedral. Before the day ends, you tour the Achaia Claus Winery.

Patras to Ioannina
You cross the impressive Rion-Antirion bridge, one of Europe's largest, and continue to Naupactus for lunch at this seaside town with its Venetian Castle and port area. From there you head to the Archaeological site of Dodoni, an ancient worship center and oracle site. Before reaching Ioannina, you visit the Perama caves and take a stroll around the lake.

- Day 14
Ioannina to Corfu
You explore Ioannina's fortified old town and castle, the oldest Byzantine fortress in Greece, walking through historic buildings and the Ottoman Mosque of Ali Pasha. A boat takes you to the small inhabited island of Ali Pasha on Lake Pamvotida. You'll taste local Epirus specialties including traditional herbs and spices. Later you drive to Igoumenitsa port to catch the evening car ferry to Corfu.

Corfu
After arriving on Corfu, you visit Achilleion Palace, built by Empress Elisabeth of Austria and later owned by Kaiser William II. You also see Mon Repos Palace with its colonial architecture, explore the Old Fortress, and walk through the UNESCO-listed old town with Venetian style buildings. You'll check out the Palace of St. Michael and St. George, and visit the historic Church of Saint Spyridon built in 1456.

Corfu
Today you explore Corfu's quieter side with stops at Paleokastritsa bay, sometimes called the Capri of Greece, and the traditional village of Lakones. You visit Kanoni with its church of Panagia Vlacherna and Mouse Island. Later you see the 14th century Venetian fortress and Esplanade square, then walk through Corfu Town's old city, port, and commercial area with a coffee break at the famous Liston's square.

Corfu to Thessaloniki
You take the ferry back to Igoumenitsa, then drive to Vergina to visit the museum housing royal tombs of Macedonia, including the tomb of King Phillip II, Alexander's father. From there you go to Veria to visit Saint Paul's Bema and explore the old Jewish neighborhood with its colorful market. Later you drive to Thessaloniki.

After breakfast, you explore Thessaloniki's key landmarks including the Arch of Galerius built in 303 AD, the Monument of Alexander the Great, and the Rotunda. You'll visit St. Demetrius Basilica with its underground Crypt, the Acheiropoietos Church, Church of Agia Sofia, and the Museum of Byzantine culture. You'll also stop at the White Tower for photos.

Thessaloniki to Meteora
You leave Thessaloniki heading to the Archaeological Park of Dion, the sacred city of the Macedonians at the foot of Mount Olympus. Later you continue to Meteora for a sunset tour among the towering rock formations. You check in to your hotel there and have free time for the evening.

Meteora
At 09:00 you get picked up to visit the UNESCO-listed Byzantine Monasteries of Meteora. You start at the Holy Monastery of Great Meteoro, the largest and oldest, perched dramatically on a gigantic rock formation. Next is the Monastery of St. Stephan, built in the 16th century and decorated in 1545. Then you drive to Delphi.

- Day 21
Delphi to Athens
After breakfast, you visit the Ancient Oracle at the sanctuary dedicated to Apollo. You'll see the Stadium and Ancient Theatre with capacity for over 5,000 spectators, then explore the Museum of Delphi. You stop in the traditional winter village of Arachova for lunch or coffee, then tour the UNESCO Monastery of Osios Loukos. On the way back to Athens, there's a short stop at the Leonidas statue at Thermopylae.

Athens to Mykonos
You get picked up from your hotel and transferred to Piraeus port for the ferry to Mykonos Island. Once there, you can stroll through 'Little Venice' or explore the narrow streets of Matogiania to shop for clothes and local items. Spend the rest of the day at your hotel and then check out Mykonos' vibrant nightlife.

- Day 23
Mykonos
This is an optional all-day cruise to the sacred island of Delos and Rhenia Beach. You'll visit ancient ruins and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Delos, birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. BBQ lunch is served on board, and you'll have time to swim in crystal-clear turquoise waters near Rhenia Island for about two hours.

Santorini
This is an optional semi-private cruise around Santorini exploring famous beaches and Caldera views. Greek barbecue lunch with salad, shrimp saganaki, grilled meats, and vegetarian options is served on board. The cruise sails to Oia for sunset.

Athens
This is your final day. After breakfast, you check out from your Athens hotel and get transferred to the airport for your connecting flights home.
