Itinerary
- Day 1
Kilimanjaro to Arusha
Your driver-guide meets you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and takes you to your hotel in Arusha (about 1 hour). After checking in, you'll have time to rest and settle in from your travels.

Lake Manyara National Park
Following breakfast, you'll drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which takes about 2 hours. There's a picnic lunch waiting for you there. You'll see over 400 bird species, pink flamingos, elephants, buffalo, hippos, giraffes, and if you're lucky, the famous tree-climbing lions. By evening you're back at your lodge for dinner.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, the 4.5-hour drive to Serengeti National Park takes you through the Rift Valley. Along the way you'll notice Tanzanian tribal life, local traffic, and colorful street stalls. Once you arrive at your lodge, dinner is served.

Serengeti National Park
Today is a full day of exploring Serengeti's 1.5 million hectares with your guide. The morning and afternoon game drives focus on the Seronera River area in the south-central park. This water source draws lions, spotted hyenas, leopards, and massive herds of grazing animals year-round.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Your morning safari continues in Serengeti. After lunch, you'll drive 3.5 hours to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. An authentic visit with the Masai tribe is included, then you check into your safari lodge. The sunset here is one you won't forget.

Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you explore Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dense wildlife populations fill this natural wonder. After lunch, you begin the 5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire National Park to Arusha
A morning game drive in Tarangire with your guide shows off the park's large wildlife concentrations and elephant herds. The park is also a hot spot for bird watchers. After the evening safari, you head back to your hotel in Arusha.

Arusha to Zanzibar Island
After breakfast, you transfer to the airport for a flight to Zanzibar Island (about 1 to 1.25 hours). Your Zanzibar representative meets you, then you explore Stone Town visiting the Old Slave Market, Christ Church Cathedral, and the Slave Trade Exhibition. A 30-minute boat ride takes you to Prison Island where you interact with over 200 Aldabra giant tortoises. You then transfer to your hotel in north Zanzibar.

The day is yours to enjoy Zanzibar's white sandy beaches. Relax, swim, and feel the sea breeze. If you want, there's an optional boat tour to watch dolphins.

Nungwi Beach Zanzibar
Your final day here is spent on Nungwi Beach. Swim, snorkel, or dive to see luminous fish in the coral reefs. Tours like the Spice Tour or Jozani Forest Tour can be arranged if you're interested.
