Itinerary
- Day 1
Izmir to Thyateira
Meet up in Izmir and start by checking out Smyrna, which is connected to Bishop Polycarp and the suffering church from early Christian history. From there, head to Pergamum, known as Satan's seat in religious texts and associated with compromise. The third stop is Thyateira, called the adulterous church. After grabbing lunch, you'll travel to Sardes for the night. The drive between each site runs about 30 to 45 minutes, so plan on spending 1 to 2 hours at each location depending on how much you want to take in.

- Day 2
Sardes to Kusadasi
Start the morning at Sardes, known as the dead church, then move on to Philadelphia, regarded as the faithful church. Next comes Laodicea, called the lukewarm church. After visiting these three sites, you'll drive roughly 2 hours 30 minutes to Kusadasi for an overnight stay. Each location has historical significance related to early Christian communities, so budget time to walk around and absorb the atmosphere at each one.

Kusadasi to Ephesus
Today focuses on Ephesus, the most significant of the Seven Churches and known as the loveless church. You'll see the House of Virgin Mary, where she's believed to have spent her final years. Then tour the Basilica of St. John, an important religious and historical site. The day finishes with an optional airport transfer back to Izmir if needed, so you can arrange that based on your flight time.
