- TCTerry· August 15th, 2025Hello, The tour was great! The only issue I did have was with the accommodations in Athens... Very poor... The Vault.. I had to book another hotel as there were ants in my daughter's bed and no face clothes... rags for towels.. and when we asked for new ones.. They said it was their laundry day.. It was ok as a 1 star or 2 star.. But when your booking a private tour.. It was way below the quality I stay in.. As for the tour company.. they didnt nothing until I said I booked my own hotel... Then no refund for the 1st night I booked as The Vault did not get a refund.. As for the 2nd night I book another hotel and get a 250 CDN refund.. Other than that.. The highlight of the tour was John our driver.. He took us out into the countryside Delphi and another small village.. Beautiful.. Really for the price.. You really only need to book transports.. But saying that tour was fun, Greece was amazing.. Communication was good with tour company.. But really all they did was book hotels that besides Athens.. Were great.. I will say.. Santorini was amazing hotel, but I still have to book all my tours and pay extra for boat cruise.. So really.. for 13k CDN.. Not sure what I paid for besides a few hotels and transport.. But Loved the trip with the tours I booked in Santorini and rebooked my ferry to get back to Athens early.. So that was again a change I made so had to pay another 500 CDN for ferry tickets.. If not I would have lost a whole day just hanging around Santorini instead of getting back to Athens at 430 pm that day and having fun that night and the next morning in Athens.. Hmmmm.. So I'v learned Ill just book my own hotels etc and just book transports from airport and to different places.....Show more
