Hubli to Badami
Start with breakfast at your hotel in Hubli, then head out for the drive to Badami. The journey covers about 110 kilometers through rural landscapes and small villages, so you'll get a feel for the region right away. Once you check in at your hotel in Badami, the afternoon and evening are free to do what you'd like. The local market is worth a walk through if you're interested in seeing local goods and trying some regional food before dinner.

- Day 2
Badami
This day focuses on the historical sites around Badami. Start by checking out the Badami Cave Temples, which feature rock-cut architecture and detailed sculptures from the Chalukyan period. From there, head to Aihole to see more ancient temples, as the area is known for its architectural significance. Later, continue to Pattadakkal, a UNESCO World Heritage site with temple complexes that blend different architectural styles. You'll return to your hotel in Badami by evening.

- Day 3
Badami to Hampi
After breakfast, you'll drive about 140 kilometers from Badami toward Hampi with a couple of stops along the way. In Gadag, visit the Trikuteshwara Temple with its intricate carvings dedicated to Lord Shiva. Then stop in Lakkundi to walk through ancient temples including the Brahma Jinalaya and Kashi Vishveshwara Temple. By late afternoon, you'll arrive in Hampi where the landscape shifts dramatically with boulders and ruins scattered around. Check in at your hotel and settle in for the night.

Hampi
Today is a full exploration of Hampi as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Start at the Vittala Temple to see the famous stone chariot and the stone pillars that reportedly create musical sounds. Next, head to the Virupaksha Temple, which is the main temple in the city. Then walk through other architectural highlights like the Lotus Mahal with its Indo-Islamic design, the Queen's Bath, and the Elephant Stables. You'll get a real sense of what this ancient city was like before heading back to your hotel.

Hampi to Hassan
Have breakfast at your hotel before traveling toward Hassan. On the way, stop at the Belur temple complex to see the detailed carvings and sculptures, particularly the Chennakesava Temple which shows exceptional craftsmanship. Continue to Halebedu to visit the Hoysaleswara Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, which features ornate carvings that represent the height of Hoysala architectural style. Arrive in Hassan later in the day and check into your hotel to rest after a full day of temple visits.

Hassan to Bangalore
After breakfast, drive toward Bangalore with a stop at Shravanabelagola, an important Jain pilgrimage center. You'll trek up Vindhyagiri Hill to see the large Gommateshwara Statue, which is a significant symbol in Jain faith. Then explore the ancient Jain centers on Chandragiri Hill to understand the spiritual and architectural heritage. After that, continue on to Bangalore and check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing and getting ready for tomorrow's sightseeing.
