Itinerary
- Day 1
Varanasi
When you arrive in Varanasi, you'll start by heading down to the Ghats along the Ganges River where spiritual life unfolds throughout the day. The Ganga Aarti ritual happens in the evening, so you'll catch that before taking a quiet sunset boat ride on the water. After that, there's time to visit Ramnagar Fort and see the museum there with its collection of royal artifacts from the region's history.

- Day 2
Sarnath

Later in the day, you'll travel to Sarnath where Buddhist heritage sites are concentrated. You can walk through the ancient Dhamek Stupa, check out the Mulagandha Kuti Vihar for its quiet atmosphere, and spend time at the Sarnath Archaeological Museum looking at historical pieces from the region.

Varanasi to Shravasti
Today takes you to the ancient city of Shravasti, a place deeply connected to Buddha's life and teachings. You'll explore the Saheth and Maheth sites where sacred structures remain, including Angulimala's stupa and Anathapindika's stupa. As the sun sets, there's a sound and light show that tells the story of what happened here in ancient times.

Shravasti to Kushinagar
You'll travel to Kushinagar, which holds significant meaning as the place where Buddha passed away. The Mahapari-nirvaana Temple houses a reclining Buddha statue that you can see. From there, walk through the peaceful Ramabhar Stupa, check out artifacts at the Kushinagar Museum, and spend some time at the Japanese Peace Pagoda for reflection.

- Day 5
Vaishali - Patna
Start by visiting the Kesariya Stupa, a tall structure that shows the scale of Buddhist building projects. Then move on to Vaishali, an ancient city with its own historical importance. You can see the Ashokan Pillar, various archaeological sites, and the Buddha Stupa there. By the end of the day, you'll reach Patna and finish at the Patna Museum to view historical items from the region.

Nalanda - Rajgir - Bodhgaya
This day involves traveling through multiple significant Buddhist sites. In Nalanda, you'll walk through the ruins of what was once a major center of learning and study. Moving to Rajgir, you can visit Gridhakuta Hill and Venuvana Vihara where Buddha spent time teaching. Later you'll reach Bodhgaya and see the Mahabodhi Temple before joining in Sutta chanting as evening comes, connecting with traditions that go back centuries.

After reflecting on everything you've seen, you'll head to the airport for your departure, taking the experience and what you've learned with you.
