Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
You'll land at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and handle visa and immigration paperwork. Your representative meets you for the transfer to your hotel, where you'll check in and settle for the night.

Kathmandu
After breakfast, walk through the traditional markets of Ason and Indra Chowk to see local traders and get a feel for daily life here. You'll visit Machindra Bahal temple, which honors a revered local deity. Head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Kathmandu
Start at Swayambhunath Stupa, an ancient religious site where you'll get panoramic views of the valley below. From there, check out Durbar Square's temples and palaces, including the home of the Living Goddess, the Kumari. In the afternoon, drive to Patan and wander around to see its exceptional architecture and craftsmanship. Return for dinner and overnight in Kathmandu.

Kathmandu to Chitwan
After breakfast, you'll drive to Chitwan National Park in the Terai plains. In the afternoon, a jeep safari takes you through the park where you might see one-horned rhinoceros, leopards, bears, and antelope. Head back for dinner and overnight in Chitwan.

Chitwan
You'll start early on an elephant-back safari to experience the jungle and its wildlife from a different vantage point. In the afternoon, you can choose to take a canoe ride, go on a nature walk, or visit a local Tharu village. Come back for dinner and overnight in Chitwan.

Chitwan to Pokhara

Pokhara
