Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival to Kandy
You'll arrive in Sri Lanka and head straight to Pinnawala to see the Elephant Orphanage, where you can watch the elephants up close during feeding time. On the drive toward Kandy, stop at a Spice & Herbal Garden to learn about local plants and pick up some souvenirs. Before checking into your hotel, you'll visit the Kandy Tooth Relic Temple, one of the most important Buddhist sites in the country. It gets crowded later in the day, so going in the late afternoon works well. Settle in for the night and get some rest after your travel day.

- Day 2
Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, you'll travel toward Nuwara Eliya with a stop at Ramboda Falls along the way, which is a nice spot to stretch and take photos. Once you arrive, visit a working tea plantation and the tea factory where you can see how Ceylon tea gets processed from leaf to cup. Later, head to Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple and then to Seetha Amman Temple, which sits next to the scenic Lake Gregory Park. You can walk around the lake before heading to your hotel for the evening.

Nuwara Eliya to Hikkaduwa
You'll have breakfast and then travel to Bentota to explore Madu River, where you can take a boat ride through the mangrove channels and see local wildlife. The afternoon is yours to relax at the beach and soak in the ocean. Later, you'll head north to Hikkaduwa for your overnight stay, arriving there by evening.

Hikkaduwa to Colombo Departure
After breakfast, you'll travel toward the airport with a guided tour of Colombo included along the way. You'll check out some of the city's main areas and landmarks, then head to the airport for your flight home. This gives you one last look at Sri Lanka's capital before you leave.
