Itinerary
- Day 1
Colombo
You'll land at Colombo airport where an UncleSam Holidays representative meets you for the transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to get settled and take it easy after traveling.
- Day 2
Colombo to Polonnaruwa
After breakfast you'll check out and head toward Polonnaruwa, passing through Dambulla with stops at the Royal Cave Temple, Golden Buddha statue, and Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Tombs. Once you reach your hotel, you can walk through Polonnaruwa's ancient ruins including the Royal Palace and Gal Vihara. Later in the day is free.

Polonnaruwa to Kandy
Following breakfast and checkout, the drive to Kandy includes several stops. You'll see Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the Aluviharaya Rock Cave Temple, Fort Macdowall, and a spice garden in Matale. After checking into your Kandy hotel, the afternoon and evening are open for your own plans.

You'll spend this day on a sightseeing tour of Kandy starting after breakfast. You'll have time by Kandy Lake, and in the evening there's a traditional Sri Lankan Cultural Performance. The rest of the day is open for shopping or relaxing as you prefer.

After breakfast you check out and drive to Nuwara Eliya, traveling through waterfalls and tea plantations. Once at your hotel, a sightseeing tour takes you to a golf course, Gregory Lake, Hindu temples, and a tea factory where you can learn how Ceylon Tea is made. You'll have free time later in the day.

Nuwara Eliya to Udawalawe National Park
You'll head to Udawalawe National Park after breakfast and checkout, stopping at Ravana's Cave and Rawana Falls near Ella. After checking in, an afternoon jungle safari lets you spot Sri Lankan elephants and other wildlife like leopards, sloth bears, and various deer species. You'll return to your hotel for the evening.
