  1. Day 1

    Embarkation

    You'll board at 6:00 p.m. and get settled into your cabin. After that, there's a welcome cocktail where you'll meet the crew, followed by dinner and evening activities onboard. The ship stays docked overnight, so you'll have time to explore the ship or relax in your cabin.

  2. Day 2

    Lanzarote

    Lanzarote's volcanic terrain is on the agenda today with two optional excursions to choose from. The morning option takes you to Timanfaya National Park where you'll see geothermic demonstrations, salt flats, and wine vineyards with tastings. If you prefer the afternoon excursion, you can visit sites connected to artist César Manrique including Jameos del Agua, Mirador del Rio viewpoint, and his house museum. Back onboard, you'll catch a sunset cocktail on deck and evening entertainment before the ship heads toward Fuerteventura overnight.

    The morning optional excursion covers Fuerteventura's local production and heritage, visiting a goat cheese farm at Finca Torres with tastings, an aloe vera cosmetics facility in Tiscamanita, and the historic village of Betancuria. Later, you'll cruise toward Gran Canaria and attend an onboard lecture during the afternoon crossing.

    Gran Canaria offers two optional excursions. Your morning choice takes you to Las Palmas and Bandama Caldera, exploring colonial-era Vegueta and Casa de Colon. The afternoon option focuses on Teror and nearby Arucas, where you'll see the patron saint basilica and the Garden of La Marquesa de Arucas with over 400 tropical and subtropical plant species. Evening brings dancing in the lounge, and then the ship sails to La Gomera overnight.

    Your morning is flexible with ship-based options like the pool, wellness salon, fitness center, or an onboard lecture. The optional afternoon excursion takes you to Garajonay National Park to walk through UNESCO World Heritage bay-tree forests and visit villages like Hermigua, Las Rosas, and Agulo. You'll experience traditional island tea time and learn about the Silbo Gomero whistled language, plus see the distinctive Roque Agando rock formation. After dinner and entertainment onboard, the ship cruises to La Palma.

By evening, you'll enjoy a sunset cocktail on deck and a festive gala celebration as the ship heads to Tenerife.

The afternoon alternative takes you to the seaside resort Puerto de la Cruz for exploring the old town, waterfront walks, charming streets, Mirador de Humbolt lookout with Orotava Valley views, and Orchid Garden Sitio Litre featuring the island's largest orchid collection. Evening entertainment includes traditional dancers and musicians in costume.

    It was bad from the start and went down-hill form there -I was told to board the ship after 6pm by TourRadar but CroisiEurope boarding time was actually 4:30pm -I was not informed in advance that this is a French-speaking tour that will "accommodate" english. This was done with resistance though. -There was only one other couple on board from the US. There were 4 French-Canadians added to our table but they were primarily French-speakers. I took this cruise along and therefore truly was alone. While I know others spoke and understood English, they preferred not to. -The food was mediocre at best. The same food choices for breakfast every single day. Sometimes there was only one choice for lunch and dinner. The wait-staff was stretched and it was difficult to get their attention. -My carpet (yes, carpet everywhere, old carpet) was soaked on the second day after when a pipe-burst i

    What is the mode of transportation during the on shore excursions? Are we being bussed or hiking etc...?

      The mode of transportation depends on the excursions you will be going through. Most of them will require a lot of walking. You will have to hike most of the way to the start point of each excursion. To get to specific areas there will be coach transport but rest assured it will be an engaging excursion.
