- Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara
Your hotel pickup happens at 8:00am for the drive west to Masai Mara Game Reserve. You'll arrive in time for lunch, then head out on your first game drive through the reserve that afternoon. This sanctuary has over 450 animal species and you'll learn about the Masai people who live in the region. Dinner and overnight stay at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Landmarks Masai Mara Game Reserve - Day 2
Masai Mara
This is a full day of game viewing across Masai Mara's scenic savannah with rolling hills. The reserve's extensive road network lets you get good views and take photos of wildlife. Around midday you'll stop for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool, where you can watch for hippos and crocodiles in the water. After returning to camp, you'll have dinner and spend another night there.

Landmarks Masai Mara Game Reserve - Day 3
Masai Mara
Another full day means morning and afternoon game drives looking for Africa's Big Five and other wildlife. During the day you'll likely spot Masai giraffes, baboons, warthogs, hyenas, impalas, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and lions. If the weather's clear, you get those orange-tinged sunsets in the evening. During July and August, you might see part of the Great Migration when millions of wildebeest move north from the Serengeti.

Landmarks Masai Mara National Reserve - Day 4
Masai Mara to Serengeti
After breakfast you leave Masai Mara and drive to Serengeti via the Sirare border. Once you clear the border, you'll enter Serengeti National Park through the western gate, which fewer tourists use. The drive takes you through acacia-spotted savannah toward the central Seronera plains, and you'll see lots of animal and bird life along the way. You'll spend the next two nights at Ikoma tented camp.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park - Day 5
Serengeti
After breakfast you continue observing wildlife while crossing the Serengeti plains, with game viewing happening throughout the drive. Later in the day you'll relax at camp and enjoy an African sunset with a cool drink. Look for the park's distinctive bird species like ostriches, kori bustards, larks, finches, raptors, and the colorful lilac-breasted roller.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park - Day 6
Serengeti to Kisii
After breakfast you drive back to the border for checkout, then head to a local restaurant for lunch. From there it's on to Kisii for dinner and overnight. You'll have some time to walk through an open-air market and see how locals go about their daily lives in the region.

Kisii to Lake Nakuru
You depart after breakfast heading to Lake Nakuru National Park via Kericho tea farm. Lunch happens in Kericho at a tea farm hotel where you can taste local tea and buy directly from the source if you want. After touring the tea farms, you continue to Lake Nakuru, a shallow alkaline lake in the Rift Valley known for its flamingo population. Look for zebras, elephants, gazelles, rhinos, and the rare Rothschild's giraffes. Dinner and overnight at a hotel just outside the park.

Lake Nakuru to Nairobi
After breakfast you do a morning game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park for three to four hours, looking for wildlife in this scenic setting. You'll return to the hotel for lunch, then drive back to Nairobi for a hotel or airport drop-off to finish your tour.
