The tour leader Antonio was highly knowledgeable on Greek history, friendly and amusing. Long distances were involved at times across mountainous terrain, well handled by our drivers, Nicos and Andreos. Hotels were generally of high standard, best in Thessaloniki (Grand), average in Athens (Smart Hotel). Dinner and breakfast were buffet style and good. Our guide Georgina Nova was one of the best guides we encountered in our numerous trips around the world. Always smiling and in the good mood, very knowlegeable and pleasant yet firm enough to keep tour on track. One word of caution about the tour is that you may not easily discover that the night before the tour start you have to pay your own hotel.
