- Day 1
Nairobi
After landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you'll be picked up and driven to the Eka Hotel in Nairobi. Check-in starts at 2:00 pm, so if you arrive before then, you'll want to arrange an extra night beforehand. Spend your afternoon getting comfortable at the hotel and checking out the facilities before your safari kicks off tomorrow.

Nairobi to Amboseli
Following breakfast, head out from Nairobi around 11:00 am traveling southeast toward Amboseli National Park. You'll stop for a picnic lunch and do some game viewing along the way, then pull into Amboseli Serena Lodge as the sun dips down. The lodge sits right under the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, and the park is home to rhinos, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, leopards and tons of bird species.

- Day 3
Amboseli to Tsavo West
Wake up early for breakfast and a morning game drive around Amboseli. After getting back to the lodge, take it easy before lunch. Later on, you'll drive across the dramatic Shetani lava flow heading toward Tsavo West National Park. Keep an eye out for gerenuk and other game along the route. You'll arrive at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, which overlooks a waterhole where elephants and buffalo regularly come to drink.

- Day 4
Tsavo West to Taita Hills
Start the day with breakfast then head out on a game drive through Tsavo West. One of the highlights is visiting Mzima Springs, where an underwater viewing chamber lets you watch aquatic wildlife below the surface. Head back for lunch at the lodge, then drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. You'll reach Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge at sunset. It's positioned right in the middle of the private sanctuary with views over a salt lick and waterhole where animals gather.

- Day 5
Taita Hills to Mombasa
After breakfast, take one last morning game drive through Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Return to the lodge for lunch, then head to Mombasa. You'll get to your beach hotel on either the northern or southern coast, or drop off at Moi International Airport, arriving around 5:30 pm. If you're catching an international flight, book it for 7:30 pm or later.
