You'll arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport where a Himalayan Planet Adventurers representative meets you. After checking into your hotel, there's a welcome dinner with traditional Nepali food, dance, and music to get you oriented to the country.

Kathmandu to Besishahar
Take a local bus west from Kathmandu to Besishahar, a district town in Lamjung that serves as the gateway to the Annapurna Conservation Area. You'll spend the night at a local hotel before trekking starts tomorrow.

Landmarks Annapurna Conservation Area - Day 3
Besishahar to Chame
Travel to Chame, a district city in Manang, on a rocky mountain road following the Marsyangdi River. You'll pass through several villages and catch panoramic views of Mount Annapurna II. Stay overnight at a local hotel. Keep in mind that roads can be rough during rainy season with potential landslides.

Chame to Bhartang
Your trekking journey begins as you head from Chame toward Bhartang village through apple orchards. After crossing the Marsyangdi River, follow a tree-shaded path with views of Mount Pisang and Mount Chulu. A casual one-hour walk gets you to a Tibetan-style village with monasteries and views of the Annapurna range.

Landmarks Mount Pisang Mount Chulu - Day 5
Bhartang to Braga
Start the day with a walk through pine forest, then continue to the Gurung village of Manang in the Manang valley with impressive views of Tilicho, Gangapurna, Annapurna II and III, plus Pisang and Chulu peaks. Head to Braga, a Tibetan-style village featuring a unique Buddhist monastery with statues, Thankas, and rare religious manuscripts.

Ice Lakes Acclimatization
Spend today acclimatizing at Braga with a short trip to the Ice Lakes area of Annapurna Mountain that takes about 6 to 7 hours total. You'll have plenty of time to explore the city and take in the natural surroundings.

Braga to Manang
Explore the Gurung village of Manang, which has around 500 flat-roof stone houses. Check out the local museum and the Himalayan Rescue Association, and watch a movie. The views of snow-capped Annapurna peaks are excellent throughout the day. Overnight in Manang.

Manang to Tilicho Base Camp
Have breakfast in Manang early, then trek toward Tilicho Base Camp over 6 to 7 hours. You'll pass through Khangsar village and cross the Marsyangdi River. The main draw is the view of several mountain peaks from the tea house at Tilicho Base Camp, where climbers start their ascent of Mount Tilicho.

Tilicho Base Camp to Tilicho Lake
Trek to Tilicho Lake, reportedly the highest lake in the world, where snow-capped mountains look different at sunrise. Walk along a narrow, uneven path with views of waterfalls, mountains, and rivers that take about 9 to 10 hours total. Return to Khansgar village for the night.

- Day 10
Khansgar to Yak Kharka
Trek to Yak Kharka, a grazing area for sheep and goats in summer with fantastic valley views and snow-capped peaks. The green landscape with juniper bushes and pleasant weather creates a nice setting. You'll see Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Tilicho peaks while meeting local shepherds.

Landmarks Yak Kharka - Day 11
Yak Kharka to Throng Phedi
Climb toward Throng Phedi along the east bank of the Jorsang Khola. Stop for tea at a shop by a wooden bridge crossing the Jorsang River. As the path narrows toward the slope, you'll reach the village of Throng Phedi where you'll stay the night.

Throng Phedi to Jomsom via Throng La Pass
Climb to Throng La Pass, often called the roof of the world, for sweeping Himalayan views. Then descend to Muktinath Temple overlooking the Kaligandaki Valley, which takes 3 to 4 hours. Continue on to Jomsom for a total trek time of about 7 to 8 hours.

Jomsom to Kagbeni to Jomsom
Start from the sacred Muktinath village where pilgrims visit the ever-burning blue flame. Experience the cultural mix here that's important to both Hindus and Buddhists. Head to the beautiful village of Kagbeni before returning to Jomsom for the night at a nice hotel.

Jomsom to Pokhara
Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara on a short 20-minute flight that gives you views of the lakeside city, Annapurna Mountains, and Phewa Lake from the air. Spend the evening at your accommodation enjoying the lakeside landscape and blue water.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
