Itinerary
- Day 1
Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou
You'll get picked up from your hotel in Chengdu and head north on a 450km drive to Jiuzhaigou. If you're interested in seeing giant pandas, there's an optional stop at Dujiangyan Panda Base along the way. The route takes you through some interesting spots including a Lama Temple and areas affected by the Sichuan earthquake with its dammed lakes. Once you arrive and check in, you can wander through the local markets and wind down in the hot spring before dinner.

- Day 2
Jiuzhaigou
You'll leave at 8:00-8:30am on a green bus with a guide for a full day exploring Jiuzhaigou National Park. The tour takes you to Long Sea, Five Flowers Lake, Seasons Lake, and Pearl Waterfall, with walking paths connecting the main sites. You'll have a picnic lunch in the park, and the tour wraps up around 4:30pm. The evening is free to rest back at your hotel or explore on your own.

- Day 3
Jiuzhaigou to Songpan
In the morning you'll drive to Songpan County and start a walking tour of this Tibetan ancient city, known as the 'West Portal of Sichuan'. The town has inner and outer cities with distinctive semi-circular gates made from flagstones. You'll get a feel for Kangba Culture and check out the local markets. If you want something more active, there's an optional horse riding tour in the surrounding mountain area during the afternoon to experience Tibetan culture firsthand.

Songpan to Chengdu
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll drive back to Chengdu on the expressway, which takes about 6 hours. You'll arrive at your designated airport, train station, or hotel where the tour concludes.
