Itinerary
- Day 1
Hampi
Your guide meets you at the hotel at 9:00 AM and starts with Virupaksha Temple, one of Hampi's main draws. From there you'll head to Vittala Temple to see the famous stone chariot up close, then break for lunch at a local South Indian restaurant (you'll pay separately for this). After eating, the afternoon takes you through Hazara Rama Temple where the carvings are really intricate, then on to the Royal Enclosure to walk around Lotus Mahal and the Elephant Stables. You'll spend some time wandering Hampi Bazaar before things wind down at the Riverside Ruins. The day finishes with a sunset climb up Matanga Hill for views across the landscape, and you're back at your hotel by 6:00 PM.
