Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Delhi
You'll arrive at Delhi Airport and get picked up for a private transfer to your hotel in New Delhi. The area has that charming British colonial feel, which is nice for getting a sense of the city's history. After checking in, the rest of the afternoon is yours to relax and adjust to the time zone at your own pace.

Delhi Sightseeing
Start your Delhi exploration with a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk bazaar in Old Delhi, where the energy is intense and the crowds are thick. From there, you'll head to Humayun's Tomb and Jama Masjid, both UNESCO sites that give you a real sense of Mughal architecture. Later, move to New Delhi to walk along Rajpath and see India Gate and Qutub Minar. You'll grab dinner back at your hotel to wind down.

Delhi to Agra
The drive to Agra takes about three hours, then you'll spend the day exploring two major UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Agra Fort shows the military side of Mughal power, while the Taj Mahal speaks for itself as an architectural achievement. Both sites deserve your attention and time to really take them in.

Agra to Ranthambore
You'll check out and head toward Jaipur, but first stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned red sandstone city that's surprisingly well-preserved. Walk through the Jama Masjid, see the Tomb of Salim Chishti, and check out the Panch Mahal and Buland Darwaza. After that, you'll drive on to Ranthambore for your overnight stay, arriving by evening.

Ranthambore Wildlife Safari
Early morning and afternoon wildlife safaris happen in shared Jeeps at Ranthambore National Park. You'll have chances to spot Bengal tigers, leopards, jackals, and other wildlife, though sightings depend on luck and timing. Between the two safaris, you'll head back to your hotel for breakfast and get some rest before the afternoon drive into the park.

Ranthambore to Jaipur
The drive to Jaipur brings you through different terrain as you move away from the national park. Once you arrive, you'll check into your hotel and have time to settle in. The evening is relaxed, giving you a chance to recover from the safari experience before you start exploring the city.

Jaipur Sightseeing & Diwali Celebration
Jaipur has a lot to cover. You'll check out Amer Fort, City Palace, and Jantar Mantar observatory, which is a working astronomical observation site from the 18th century. Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, is iconic and photogenic. Later, browse the local markets in the evening, and there's also a special evening where you'll celebrate Diwali with a local Indian family, which adds a personal touch to your visit.

Jaipur to Jodhpur
You'll drive to Jodhpur in Western Rajasthan, a region known for its desert landscape and blue-painted buildings. After arriving, check into your hotel positioned in the old city. The location gives you views of Mehrangarh Fort looming above, which you'll explore tomorrow.

Jodhpur Exploration
A guided tour of Mehrangarh Fort takes up a good portion of the day, as the fort is massive and the views from the top are worth the climb. From there, you'll see Jaswant Thada, the marble cenotaph nearby. Walking through the narrow lanes of the old city and browsing Sardar Market happens with your guide, who'll know which spots are worth your time. The afternoon is free for an optional tour of Umaid Bhawan Palace, one of India's private palaces.

Jodhpur to Udaipur
Heading to Udaipur, you'll stop en route to visit the Jain Temples of Ranakpur, which are ornate and intricate with detailed carvings throughout. Once in Udaipur, your hotel sits right in the middle of Lake Pichola, so you'll have lake views from your room. The location is central and offers a nice transition from the desert landscape to this lakeside city.

Udaipur Sightseeing & Lake Cruise
Start at Sahelion-Ki-Bari garden with its lawns and shaded walkways. The Museum of Folk Art has traditional clothing, ornaments, puppets, and musical instruments that give context to local culture. The City Palace is enormous and includes a museum with intricate peacock mosaics and miniature paintings. You'll also visit a traditional painting school to see how artisans create those detailed miniature works. Later, take a boat ride on Lake Pichola to see the Lake Palace, famous from the James Bond film Octopussy.
