Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi
You'll get picked up from central Delhi and head to your hotel to settle in. Once you're ready, the sightseeing starts with a rickshaw ride through Old Delhi's narrow streets, where you'll see Chandni Chowk, the Kinari Bazaar wedding market, and the Spice Market at Khari Baoli with all its different aromas. Then you visit Jama Masjid, Red Fort, and Mahatma Gandhi's cremation site. In New Delhi, there's India Gate, Raj Path, Parliament House, and the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib temple complex. You'll finish with a walk and optional shopping in New Delhi's center to see how different the old and new parts of the city really are.

Delhi to Agra
After breakfast you travel to Agra. The Taj Mahal is there, a marble monument built by Emperor Shahjahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. You'll also check out Agra Fort, one of India's significant fortifications. The day ends with an overnight stay in Agra.

- Day 3
Agra to Jaipur
After breakfast, you head to Jaipur, known as the Pink City. On the way there, you'll stop at Fatehpur Sikri to walk through the royal and sacred sections of this historic spot. When you arrive in Jaipur, check into your hotel and then explore the local area, including Galta Gi, a temple set in the hills where monkeys roam around the structures and landscape.

- Day 4
Jaipur
You'll start the day after breakfast and meet your guide for a full sightseeing tour. Amber Fort sits on a hilltop and you'll explore that, then move through the City Palace complex which has beautiful displays. Jantar Mantar is an astronomical observatory worth seeing, and then there's the royal tombs at Gaitor. Jal Mahal sits on water, and Hawa Mahal has around 1000 small windows built into it. Later you'll shop at Bapu Bazaar before heading back to your hotel.

Jaipur to Delhi
You'll have breakfast and then get dropped off in Delhi. Your driver shows you Qutub Minar, which is the world's tallest brick minaret, and Humayun's Tomb, an architectural work that influenced Mughal design including the Taj Mahal. You stay overnight in Delhi.

Delhi to Sigiriya
You're transferred to the airport for your flight to Sri Lanka. After landing in Colombo, you'll drive to Sigiriya with scenic stops along the way. There's the historic Dambulla Cave Temple and Golden Temple to visit, then you climb Pidurangala rock to watch the sunset. After that you'll settle in for the night in Sigiriya.

Sigiriya
After breakfast you drive to Polonnaruwa and explore the ancient monuments there. In the afternoon you head out on a jeep safari at Minneriya where you can see over 50 wild elephants heading to the reservoir as dusk comes. You'll return to Sigiriya for the night.

Sigiriya to Kandy
You climb Sigiriya Lion Rock after breakfast to see this ancient fortress up close. Then you drive to Kandy with a stop at the Matale Hindu Temple along the way. In Kandy you'll explore the city and visit the Temple of the Tooth. An evening cultural show happens before you settle in for the night in Kandy.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, you visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden, then drive to Nuwara Eliya. On the route you'll do white water rafting in Kithulgala, see Devon Waterfall and St. Claire Waterfall, stop at a working tea factory, and view the tea plantations. You'll end the day in Nuwara Eliya.

After breakfast you drive to Nanu Oya railway station to catch the train to Ella, which has one of Sri Lanka's most scenic train routes. Your driver picks you up from Ella railway station. You stay the night in Ella.

- Day 11
Ella to Yala
You visit Little Adam's Peak and the 9 Arch Bridge after breakfast, then Ravana Waterfall. From there you drive to Yala and stop to see the Buduruwagala Buddha statue. In the afternoon you do a jeep safari at Yala National Park before settling in for the night at Yala or Tissamaharama.
