- LCLeigh· July 22nd, 2025This is an absolutely perfect tour. And our tour guide Linda and our driver Mark made the experience exceptional. All of the hotels are beautiful and food is excellent. All of experiences are fantastic, and are included in the price of the tour. Nothing was additional in cost, which is very different from the Globus tour we are currently on in London, where everything seems to be additional. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat. You see so much and you cover nearly the whole country. The only thing that would make it better would be more time on the Isle of Skye. But I understand that there will be a different tour next year that will include that. And it will add on two extra days. There is not one thing that I would do to make this tour better other than more time in Skye. Castles, history, sheepdog experience, beautiful scenery… It includes it all.Show moreTrip date: July 2025
- Tim· July 21st, 2025Accommodations were wonderful, and I very much enjoyed the meals provided. We enjoyed someone else driving through the occasionally narrow roads. Mark has nerves of steel, and some very good stories of his own. Allan also has a birding hobby, as well as some experience with flora and fauna, because I will ask those questions. This is a busy tour. There is not a lot of "down time"; but you are able to see so much along the drive. Bring one pair of shoes for walking, usually uneven streets and occasionally rough terrain. Bring one more pair for evenings if you want to be slightly dressier. **Arrive the day before the tour begins, as it begins in the early morning.**Show moreTrip date: July 2025
- HMHeather· July 7th, 2025It was a wonderful trip! All of the hotels were first-rate. Our tour guide, Alan, was wonderful! I especially enjoyed his stories and the songs he played for us. He was very patient with me asking how to spell peoples' names and places, as I was taking lots of notes. The driver Mark was very kind and helpful, as well. I will look forward to traveling with Tour Radar again and to recommending it!Show moreTrip date: June 2025
- NJNatalie· June 23rd, 2025Our tour guide Linda was extremely knowledgeable and provided insight into every location including the travel locations in between. There were two days of extreme bus travel near the beginning where we spent many hours on the bus which was probably the only negative for me.Show moreTrip date: June 2025

- KPKae· June 3rd, 2025We loved all aspects of the tour. There were beautiful, raw landscapes, to experience, as well as education of Scotland's history and culture. Highlights were the site of the Battle of Culloden, sheepdog herding demonstration, the Isle of Skye, and the Spirit of Scotland performance. We appreciated that all restaurants accommodated our vegetarian diet, and the very comfortable hotels. The Scots are impeccably polite and kind.Show moreTrip date: May 2025

Traveler•Written March 2025Since we would need to find a hotel to stay in the night before the tour starts, is the Grand Hotel usually available for making private reservations at if we booked far enough in advance? For families with kids coming is it necessary to book two rooms or do they have larger rooms available for the tour?

The hotel would be available to book for a pre-night. For anyone with kids they would mostly need 2 rooms. What are the kids ages?
