  1. Day 1

    Taipei to Taichung

    Start in Taipei and travel down the west coast to see buildings from the Japanese colonial period. You'll stop in Miaoli to learn how to make Hakka pound tea, then continue to Taichung where you can check out the opera house and have dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant.

    Taichung to Chiayi

    After breakfast at your hotel, head to a city known for its food culture. There you'll see how soy sauce gets made using traditional methods, walk through the National Palace Museum's Southern branch to experience over 5,000 years of Chinese art and history, and finish by eating at a traditional night market.

From there, explore the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas and visit the world's largest bronze Buddha statue at Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Center. The day wraps up with a boat tour on Kaohsiung's Love River.

    Visit an award-winning chocolate farm that uses local ingredients to make creative chocolates and try several types during a tasting session. After that, head to Kenting resort town to relax at the beaches, spending time at Baisha beach.

    Had a great 6 day private (just 2 of us) tour of Taiwan with our guide Vincent. He was great in showing us different areas of eastern and southern Taiwan, chose some local restaurants to eat foods we would have probably never tried, took us to local landmarks and explained the local geography, history.

  • Visa
    • Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
    • Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before January 8th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 8th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with MyTaiwanTour. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
