I cannot recommend No Roads Expeditions highly enough. I have recently completed the Kokoda trek in PNG - and the entire team at No Roads were beyond excellent in every aspect of the trip. The trip itself was so well planned and we were incredibly well taken care of. Initially we had some hiccups with lost baggage from the airlines and the team at No Roads helped us out immensely. Have to give a really big special shout out to Fiona from the No Roads team who worked tirelessly to get us all back into Australia before the border closures happened - it was an incredible feat on short notice to chopper us out and get us home just before the cut off time. We cannot express our gratitude to Fiona and her team enough for getting us all home safely amongst the most challenging circumstances. Outstanding team and outstanding care for all travellers - you cannot be better looked after than on a No Roads Expedition!!! As a side note we were very well fed, and Clement, Paul and the rest of our guides were fantastic!

This is my 3rd Kokoda trek within 10 years with No Roads and my 7th adventure holiday with them. I chose the Fast Trek Aus Led tour this time due to time constraints and also because I wanted to challenge myself that bit harder. So why do I keep coming back to No Roads? Simple - they are professional, easy to deal with and their treks are also a lot of fun. I enjoyed everything about this trip. In total I was away for 7 days (5 of the track with a day either side in POM). The trip was led by Peter Miller and supported by a group of hard working porters. The meals on the track are freshly prepared by the crew cook and there is lots of surprises along the way. Before you arrive a travel pack of goodies including hydrolyte, lollies, soups, snacks and shirts are sent out along with a detailed list of things to take. I’d recommend the fast trek for anyone who has an above average level of fitness. Kokoda is an amazing trek - full of history and emotion. I love it and I will definitely be back. Caylan

Unfortunately, that time of year is the wet season throughout the tropics and we don't have any trips then. The best time of year is July to Oct in PNG for sea kayaking.

I am 60 years old and concerned the sea kayaking may be too hard as I have no kayaking experience. Do you think this would be the case as the trip sounds fabulous!

Thanks you for the message re Tigak. Its not so much your age but rather your fitness. If you are fit then you can do this trip even as a beginner. However, we do have another fabulous trip in the Komodo islands which has slightly more stable kayaks great for beginners and we have a large support boat for when you dont feel like kayaking anymore.

Unfortunately, we only have a select number of trips in September each year. We do have sea kayaking in Indonesia in may if that is something that may interest you.

Hi, if there are only two adults, will you run the tour, with the dates we like? How much would it be? One more question, neither of us have much kayaking experience, (we did paddle some distance now and then), do you think we could do it?

Thanks for the message and sorry for the delay. In regards to experience, you do not need to be an experienced kayaker. However, it does help if you have a good level of fitness. Normally we wouldn't run this trip for 2 people. I do have 5 people pencilled in and have contacted them to see if they would like to go again this year. If you book in and we cant get the numbers I am happy to refund you your deposit if that suits?
