- CBCharlotte· September 17th, 2023My boyfriend and I were really keen to squeeze a short(ish) length trek into our 3 week trip in Nepal. We had never done any trekking like this before and it suited us perfectly. The intensity was great - some days were hard, others easier. Our guide (Ram) and porter (Shiva) were exceptional. They were both so kind and courteous and always took good care of us up in the mountain! Ram has fantastic knowledge of the Annapurna region, the local wildlife and plants and is a pleasure to speak to. Shiva was fantastic company and a great laugh. Watching the sunrise over the Annapurna mountains was definitely a highlight - something we will never forget! Together we enjoyed playing cards each evening and reminiscing on our day! A huge thank you to the Himalayan trekking company (especially Ram and Shiva) for this amazing experience. We would highly recommend.Show more
