Delhi
You'll land at Delhi airport where your tour manager meets you for the transfer to your hotel. After getting settled, you'll have a welcome briefing covering the tour details and all your documentation.

Delhi
A guided tour takes you through both Old and New Delhi. In the old city, you'll walk through Chandni Chowk market, see the Red Fort, visit Rajghat and Jama Masjid, then head to Qutub Minar. The afternoon covers New Delhi with Connaught Place, India Gate, and the government buildings along Rajpath including Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Delhi to Jaipur
After breakfast, you'll drive from Delhi to Jaipur. During the journey, your guide explains the city's history and the tradition of its pink buildings, painted for the Prince of Wales' visit. You'll check into your hotel by late afternoon.

Jaipur
A full day exploring Jaipur starts after breakfast. You'll ride elephants up to Amber Fort, then visit Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort in the hills. Later you'll see the Jantar Mantar observatory, Hawa Mahal, Birla Planetarium, and the City Palace museum.

Jaipur to Agra
The drive to Agra includes a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, where Akbar once ruled. You'll explore this UNESCO site with the Jama Masjid, Sheikh Salim Chishti's tomb, Jahangir's Palace, and the Buland Darwaza. From there, continue on to Agra and check into your hotel.

Varanasi
After arriving in Varanasi early morning, you'll check in and spend a relaxed day. The city is sacred to Hindu pilgrims with numerous ghats along the river. You can take in the spiritual atmosphere at your own pace.

Varanasi to Cochin
An early boat ride on the Ganges has you passing sacred ghats and taking a dip. You'll then walk the ghats and visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple. By evening, the Ganga Aarti ceremony takes place. Later you fly to Cochin, arriving at this port city where backwaters meet the Arabian Sea, checking into your hotel.

After breakfast you'll drive to Munnar, a hill station surrounded by tea plantations. The route climbs through endless green fields in the Aravalli mountains. You'll arrive at your hotel or resort by afternoon.

Munnar to Thekkady
From your base in Thekkady, a morning boat ride on Lake Periyar (about 90 minutes) lets you spot birds, deer, and elephants along the banks. In the afternoon, an elephant or jeep safari takes you into the park where you might see tigers, gaur, wild dogs, and various bird species. The park sits 3-4 km from town.

Thekkady to Alleppey

Later you drive to Alleppey and board a houseboat, navigating backwaters past coconut lagoons, rice fields, narrow canals, and coir villages.
