Itinerary
- Day 1
Pokhara to Ulleri
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, which takes about an hour. From there, trek starts through the Annapurna Conservation Area. You'll pass waterfalls at Bhurungdi Khola and walk through Hile to Tikhedhunga, crossing a suspension bridge before climbing stone paved steps up to Ulleri village. It's a relatively easy first day to get your legs warmed up for the trek ahead.

Ulleri to Ghorepani
Trek via Banthanti through rhododendron forest where you'll hear bird calls while walking in and out of clouds. The trail continues past Nange Thanti before you reach Ghorepani, a Magar village where you'll spend the night. The forest walking here is really the highlight of the day.

Poon Hill - Tadapani
Rise early this morning to climb Poon Hill for Himalayan sunrise views. You'll see Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Fishtail, and nearby peaks turning golden as the light hits them. After descending back to Ghorepani for breakfast, trek all the way to Tadapani via Deurali and Banthanti on a trail that goes up and down quite a bit, so it's a longer day overall.

Tadapani to Chhomrong
Trekking downhill today through rhododendron forest, you'll cross a suspension bridge over a stream. From there, continue past the Chhomrong pass and through Salaphu to reach the village of Chhomrong where you'll stop for the night. The downhill sections make for easier walking today.

Chhomrong to Dovan
Descend from Chhomrong to Chhomrong Khola and cross a suspension bridge to start the day. Trek through oak and rhododendron forests, then through orchid woods to Khuldighar. After passing through bamboo forest, you'll descend steep stone staircases to reach Dovan for the night.

Dovan to Annapurna Base Camp
Trek uphill to Himalaya and then to Hinku Cave before descending to Deurali. You'll cross two bridges in Bagar, then climb steeply through an avalanche section to Machhapuchhre base camp. From there, walk across the glacier bed to reach Annapurna Base Camp. Weather permitting, you can explore the surrounding Annapurna range from this bowl-shaped site surrounded by mountain walls.

Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo
Start your morning at Annapurna Base Camp watching sunrise over Annapurna South, Fishtail, Himchuli, and other peaks before breakfast. The views from this bowl-shaped site with mountain walls all around are really the main event here. After eating, trek downhill to Bamboo, exploring the beautiful landscape along the way.

Bamboo to Jhinu Hot Spring
Trek downhill via Khuldighar and Sinuwa to reach Chhomrong, then descend steeply to Chhomrong Danda. Check into your lodge and later walk to the Jhinu natural hot spring site. You can enjoy a therapeutic bath there, which is believed to help with various skin conditions and provides nice relief after several days of trekking.

Jhinu to Pothana
This is a long trekking day, so start early with breakfast. Trek downhill via the new bridge to reach Landruk with its distinctive whitewashed stone buildings. Continue via stone staircases across streams to Tolga, then trek through Pitam to reach Pothana for the night. You'll cover quite a bit of ground today.

Pothana to Pokhara
After breakfast, gradually descend through stone paved trails to Deurali. You have options here to go via Dhampus or take an alternate route depending on your preference. Continue trekking downhill to Phedi where you'll meet the highway. From there, drive back to Pokhara for rest and relaxation after finishing the trek.
