Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Hanoi to Dong Hoi

    Meet up at Hanoi Railway Station and board your overnight train heading to Dong Hoi in a shared cabin. The 10-hour journey gives you time to settle in and rest before arriving the next morning.

  2. Day 2

    Phong Nha Cave and Botanical Garden

    You'll arrive in Dong Hoi and start with a big breakfast to fuel up. From there, take a traditional dragon boat upstream from Xuan Son boat dock toward Phong Nha Cave in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, where you'll pass by karst mountain views along the way. After lunch at a local restaurant, spend time at the Botanical Garden exploring its six main sites with waterfalls, lakes, and wildlife. Head back to your hotel for the evening.

  3. Day 3

    Paradise Cave, Chay River and Dark Cave

    This morning focuses on Paradise Cave, the largest cave in the Phong Nha - Ke Bang area. Grab lunch at a local restaurant, then kayak on Chay River to see limestone mountain reflections in the turquoise water. Next comes Dark Cave where you can try zip-lining at the entrance, explore with caving equipment, and take an optional mud bath if you're interested. Later in the afternoon, head back to Dong Hoi City and make your way to the train station for your night train returning to Hanoi.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before February 13th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 13th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Asia Links Travel Company. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
