My wife and l are thinking of going on this tour. We will be staying in Puerto Maldonado the night before we start the tour and we're wondering what time we would be picked up and arrive at the lodge.

we normally pick you up at 8:30am from your hotel as you will arrive one day before. we transfer to the office for check in than at 9:30am we depart from puerto maldonado to the lodge by boat.

I stayed at two different locations along the Tambopata River that had different birds, butterflies, bugs and monkeys. The locations were similar and totally different all at the same time. At the first location visiting Sandoval Lake is a must. The food was very good especially at my second location and the people were friendly. My guides were both knowledgable and humerus, especially Tito who I spent 3 days with in the Rainforest.
