- Day 1
London
After settling into your hotel, the afternoon is yours to explore London at your own pace. You could take a walk along the Serpentine in Hyde Park, spend time shopping around Knightsbridge, or head down to the Thames for views of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.

- Day 2
London to York via Stratford-upon-Avon
Meet up with your Travel Director and head north to Stratford-upon-Avon, where you'll see William Shakespeare's birthplace and wander through the black-and-white timber-framed houses. Then it's on to historic York, where you'll walk the narrow lanes including the Shambles and check out York Minster. Later, join the group for a traditional Yorkshire dinner and start getting to know your fellow travelers.

- Day 3
York to Edinburgh via Hadrian's Wall and Jedburgh Abbey
You'll see a section of Hadrian's Wall, the massive Roman structure that stretched 80 miles across the landscape marking the empire's northern edge. From there, drive past Jedburgh Abbey on your way to Edinburgh for a two-night stay. If you're interested, there's an optional traditional dinner at Ghillie Dhu this evening.

Edinburgh
A Local Expert leads you through the Royal Mile, where you'll see the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the Sir Walter Scott Monument before heading to the 18th-century New Town with its neoclassical Adam architecture. You'll visit Edinburgh Castle to see the Honours of Scotland and Mons Meg. The afternoon is free to do what you like. If your departure date allows, you can catch The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in the evening, a colorful performance of pipes, drums, dance and pageantry lit against the castle.

You'll see Cardiff Castle and the impressive Principality Stadium.

Cardiff to Plymouth via Bath
Cross the Severn Bridge back into England and head to Bath, a golden Georgian city that's a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll visit the well-preserved Roman Baths and see the Royal Crescent, Pulteney Bridge and Bath Abbey during a city orientation. From there, continue to Plymouth for your hotel stay.

Later, head to Heskyn Mill for a farm-to-table dinner featuring organic seasonal produce picked fresh from surrounding fields and served with wine.
