Itinerary
- Day 1
Aswan
You'll get picked up at Aswan Airport or the railway station and head straight to the Mayfair for check-in. After getting settled, there's lunch waiting on board the ship. From there, you'll go see the High Dam, which is quite an engineering feat, then move on to the Unfinished Obelisk to get a sense of how ancient stone work happened. Later you'll head to Philae Temple, a temple dedicated to Isis and Hathor that sits on an island in the Nile. Dinner happens back on the cruise that evening.

- Day 2
Edfu to Luxor
Breakfast starts your day on board, after which you'll head to Horus Temple in Edfu. The temple is impressive and sits right on the Nile. Then the cruise sails to Kom Ombo where you can check out a temple that was shared between two gods, Sobek and Haeroris, which is pretty interesting architecturally. The ship continues to Luxor, and you'll have dinner there before settling in for the night on the cruise.

Luxor
After breakfast on the ship, you'll cross to the west bank and start at the Valley of the Kings where pharaohs like Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, Ramesses VI, Mrenptah, and Amenhotep II are buried. You'll then see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which is carved right into the cliff face, then pass by the Colossi of Memnon. Around midday you'll grab lunch at a local restaurant on the east bank. After eating, you'll visit Karnak Temples, which were built for gods Amon, Mut, and Khonsu, and finish with the Temple of Luxor before heading back to the cruise for dinner.

Departure from Luxor
Your last breakfast happens on board the Mayfair. After you finish eating, you'll pack up and get off the ship. A Sun Pyramids Tours representative will meet you and take you to either the airport or train station so you can head home.
