Itinerary
- Day 1
Windhoek to Otjiwarongo
Your guide meets you at Windhoek Airport or your accommodation to go over what to expect on the tour. From there, head north toward Otjiwarongo and stop at the craft market in Okahandja where you can look through local items and handmade goods.

Otjiwarongo to Etosha National Park
Travel north into Etosha National Park and head to Okaukueyo. This vast reserve holds over 114 types of mammals and 340 bird species, making it one of the world's largest protected areas. Get your first real look at wildlife with a game drive this afternoon.

- Day 3
Etosha National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, go back out into Etosha for more wildlife viewing. You'll see springboks and zebras around the waterholes, plus rarer animals like the black-faced impala that you only find in Namibia. Your guide points out leopards or hunting lionesses if they show up and explains what you're seeing.

- Day 4
Etosha to Damaraland/Kaokoland
After breakfast, head to a Himba village to meet the indigenous pastoralists who live in the Kunene region. Your guide suggests bringing gifts or provisions for the community you'll visit, which shows respect for their way of life.

- Day 5
Damaraland/Kaokoland to Twyfelfontein
After breakfast, travel to Damaraland and the Twyfelfontein region. Check out one of Africa's most significant rock engraving sites with carvings of rhinos, elephants, ostriches, giraffes, and footprints. Also tour Burnt Mountain and see the unusual Basaltic Organ Pipes rock formations.

Damaraland to Swakopmund
Head west toward Swakopmund, passing through Uis, a small mining village. On the drive, you'll get views of Brandberg, the highest mountain in Namibia. Later, the afternoon is open so you can walk around Swakopmund at your own pace and get a feel for the oceanfront town.

Swakopmund
This morning, take a catamaran out to see sea lions from the water. Then travel to Walvis Bay, Namibia's main port, for a boat trip through the lagoon hunting for dolphins and sea lions. The rest of the day lets you walk the beaches and dunes around Swakopmund if you want.

Walvis Bay to Sossusvlei
Drive through Naukluft Park and cross the Kuiseb Pass near the Tropic of Capricorn, then enter the Namib Desert. This ancient desert covers a huge stretch of Namibia's coast and has some of the highest sand dunes in the world. Spend the day seeing Dune 45, Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, and Sesriem Canyon.

- Day 9
Sossusvlei
After breakfast, explore the dramatic colors and shapes of the dunes at Sossusvlei. These massive sand formations tower over 375 meters and rank among the world's tallest. Climb to the top, then grab lunch in the shade of acacia trees before visiting the hidden water source deep inside Sesriem Gorge.

Sossusvlei to Aus
Travel to Aus, a region known for wild horses and its history connected to the old diamond mining area. Drive the D707 road, which offers wide-open views of the landscape. If conditions allow, visit the wild horses that roam freely in this area.

Aus to Lüderitz
After breakfast, go to Lüderitz and explore Kolmanskop, an old mining settlement that's been abandoned for decades. On the way back to your lodge, stop again to visit the wild horses and watch them in their natural habitat.

- Day 13
Aus to Fish River Canyon
Drive to Fish River Canyon, the largest river canyon in Namibia. This geological formation is one of the world's biggest canyons, second only to the Colorado. The rocks here are 300 million years old and the views from the top are incredible. The river flows 650 kilometers from the Naukluft mountains to the Orange River on the South African border.

Fish River Canyon to Keetmanshoop
Head to Keetmanshoop to see the Quiver Trees and Cheetah Trees. The Kokerboom or Quiver Tree is a slow-growing aloe tree with a fibrous trunk that stores water. Hunters and San people carved its branches into quivers, which is where it gets its name.

Keetmanshoop to Mariental
After breakfast, travel to Mariental in the Kalahari region, home to the San people. This town sits on the edge of the Kalahari Desert and serves as the main center for the Hardap area. Go on a bush walk with San guides who share knowledge of desert survival and their way of life.

Mariental to Windhoek (Departure)
On your final day, leave Mariental early and drive back to Windhoek, arriving in late morning or early afternoon. You'll have time to shop or walk through the city before heading to the international airport. Remember to show up two hours before your flight departs.
