Kilimanjaro Airport to Moshi
Your representative will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and handle your transfer to Moshi. You'll check in at Adventure Nest, a bed and breakfast place where you can settle in and rest up before the trek starts tomorrow.

Moshi to Mti Mkubwa
After breakfast, you're transferred from your hotel to where the national park forest begins. The walk through undisturbed forest to Mti Mkubwa camp takes you through areas where colobus monkeys hang out and where you might notice signs of elephants. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Landmarks Mount Kilimanjaro National Park - Day 3
Mti Mkubwa to Shira Camp
This day involves walking through forest with good chances to spot wildlife and birds. You'll pass through montane forest and hagenia zones while climbing higher. The vegetation starts changing as you gain elevation. Dinner and overnight at Shira camp.

Landmarks Mount Kilimanjaro National Park - Day 4
Shira Plateau to Fisher Campsite
You'll hike across the Shira plateau and then up the western slope of the Kibo massif. It's a full day of trekking that takes you higher into the mountain. Overnight at Fisher campsite.

Fisher Campsite to Lava Tower
After breakfast, the hike takes you up Lava Tower where you'll first enter the alpine zone. Hardier grasses and lichen become visible as trees thin out. From here, you get good views of the Western Breach route that you'll use for your final push to the summit.

Landmarks Lava Tower - Day 6
Ascent to Arrow Glacier
You'll spend a few hours climbing to the base of the Western Breach, then set up camp near Arrow Glacier. An afternoon hike up the route helps your body adjust to the altitude before you settle in for the night at camp.

Landmarks Arrow Glacier Western Breach - Day 7
Western Breach to Crater Rim
The non-technical Western Breach route takes about six hours to reach the crater rim. Once there, you can walk through the inner crater and check out the ash pit. Camp gets set up on the crater floor for the night.

Landmarks Western Breach Kilimanjaro Crater - Day 8
Summit Day
Summit day starts early so you can reach Uhuru Peak around 10 am. After summiting, you begin your descent via Barafu Hut and continue down to Mweka Hut camp for dinner and overnight.

Mweka Hut to Moshi
From Mweka Hut, the descent to the road head takes about 3 to 4 hours. You'll have lunch at the trailhead and thank your porters for their hard work. Transfer to Moshi for dinner and overnight at Adventure Nest or a similar lodge.

Moshi to Kilimanjaro Airport
After breakfast in Moshi, you're driven to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home. That wraps up the trek and your service ends.
