- Day 1
Chos Malal
You'll arrive in Chos Malal after either a 20 hour drive from Buenos Aires or a flight into Neuquén. Spend the day getting your bikes ready and meeting the team and other riders. The hotel here is the best option in town for your overnight stay.

- Day 2
Chos Malal to Huinganco
After breakfast and a briefing, head northwest toward Cordillera del Viento with Domuyo Volcano (4700m/15,420 ft) visible ahead as Patagonia's highest peak. The morning takes you across an open valley on paved road, then after lunch the terrain shifts completely as you enter Huinganco Valley on gravel paths with dense pine forests surrounding you. Temperatures swing quite a bit between day and night here.

Landmarks Domuyo Volcano Cordillera del Viento Huinganco Valley - Day 3
Huinganco to Reñil Leuvú
Leave Huinganco and ride through Andacollo, the last Argentine town before crossing into Chile. The support team sets up lunch outdoors midday and dinner at the campsite later. You can set your own pace, either ride faster or slow down for photos of the landscape. Gravel roads take you through semi-desert with snowcapped mountains in view, then past the Neuquén, Nahueve, and Lileo Rivers, ending at the Reñil Leuvú riverbank campsite.

Reñil Leuvú to Argentina-Chile Border
After breakfast and your daily briefing, pack up camp and follow Reñil Leuvú River as volcanic rock appears under your tires mixed with emerald vegetation. This is an uphill day covering 26km before reaching Gendarmería border control where you'll handle Argentine customs and migration paperwork, plus grab lunch. Afternoon riding takes you past Moncol mountain and forests of Lengas trees, then some downhills give you relief toward the end.

Landmarks Gendarmería Border Control Moncol Mountain - Day 5
Border to Los Angeles (Argentina-Chile Crossing)
Prepare for the toughest day with hard climbs and fast descents. Start on dark volcanic soil with strong winds and difficult uphills for the first 9km until you reach the international border marker. Antuco Volcano (2985m/9,793 ft) and Sierra Velluda (3865m/12,680 ft) rise around you, with Antuco's glaciers feeding Laguna Verde and the Laja River. After taking in those views, descend to Chilean Carabineros for entry paperwork, then camp in this magical spot between both volcanoes.

Landmarks Antuco Volcano Sierra Velluda Laguna Verde Laja River Carabineros de Chile - Day 6
Los Angeles
Morning riding between Antuco Volcano and La Laja lagoon on loose sand that makes things tricky, but then comes an incredible gravel descent dropping over 600m/1960 ft across 31km, moving from mountain vegetation through cypress, radales, lengas, coihues, ñires, and into humid Patagonian forest. You'll reach paved road and ride into Antuco with Laja River beside you, then load bikes for a short drive to Los Angeles. There you'll celebrate with champagne and lunch at the hotel, relax by the pool, and have dinner with the group.

Landmarks Antuco Laja River - Day 7
Los Angeles to Neuquén
A minibus takes you from Los Angeles back to Neuquén (600km/12 hours) over Paso Pino Hachado. You have choices here: transfer to Concepción airport for flights home through Santiago, or explore Chilean wineries, deserts, and glaciers, or head to Neuquén to return to Buenos Aires or continue into Argentine Patagonia. You'll arrive in Neuquén by evening and stay overnight.
