Itinerary
- Day 1
Sigiriya
Your chauffeur meets you at the airport and drives toward Sigiriya with stops along the way. First you'll see the Dambulla rock cave temple, then head to Pinnewala Elephant Orphanage where you can watch baby elephants being bathed and bottle-fed. By evening you'll check into your hotel in Sigiriya to get settled.

Trincomalee
After breakfast, head up to Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with views across the surrounding plains. From there it's about a 2-hour drive to Trincomalee on the coast. You'll have the afternoon free to relax by the beach and get acclimated to the seaside.

Trincomalee
Following breakfast, a local guide takes you around Trincomalee hitting the Koneswaram Temple and beach areas. The afternoon opens up for water activities like diving, snorkeling, jet skiing, sea kayaking, or tube rides if you're interested. You'll head back to your resort before evening.

Anuradhapura
After breakfast you travel roughly 2 hours inland to Anuradhapura, one of Sri Lanka's oldest cities and a UNESCO site with significant historical importance. After checking in and resting, a guided tour in the afternoon takes you through eight sacred locations around the city before returning to your hotel.

Kandy
The drive to Kandy takes about 3.5 hours from Anuradhapura, passing through cooler hill country as you gain elevation. Kandy is a UNESCO site and one of the country's larger cities with important cultural sites. Later that evening you'll see a Kandyan dance festival featuring traditional high-class and ceremonial performances.

Kandy
After breakfast you explore Kandy city and walk around the lake area, then visit the Sri Dalada Maligawa, also known as the Temple of Tooth Relic. In the afternoon you'll check out the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and have time for shopping in downtown Kandy before the day ends.

Nuwara Eliya
Following breakfast you head to Peradeniya station to catch a scenic train ride through tea plantations heading to Nuwara Eliya (nicknamed Little England). Your driver picks you up at Nanu Oya station, and later you'll visit Gregory Lake in the afternoon to enjoy the cool climate and peaceful setting.

Ella
After breakfast you travel to Ella, a small hill country village where you'll visit Hakgala Botanical Garden and Rawana Waterfalls. The afternoon takes you around Ella itself to see Little Adam's Peak, the Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, and the Ella Rock viewpoint for different perspectives of the highlands.

Yala
You'll drive about 1 hour 15 minutes to Yala and check into your hotel, then at 3:00 pm a 4x4 jeep safari begins through Yala National Park with a tracker accompanying you. Wild elephants, leopards, sloth bears, and various birds inhabit the park, so you'll have good chances to see wildlife. The safari ends and you return to your hotel.

Mirissa
The drive to Mirissa takes approximately 3 hours 15 minutes, bringing you to a small sandy beach town known for its sunsets and sunrises. You'll spend the afternoon relaxing and walking around this famous beach area to get a feel for the place.

Mirissa
Starting early, you head out on a boat safari from Mirissa (also called Dondara) to watch dolphins and whales in the ocean, just a short drive from your hotel. After returning you'll have the afternoon free at the beach. Later, dinner features fresh seafood at a beachfront restaurant.
