Arrival in Antananarivo
Your arrival at Ivato International Airport marks the start of your Madagascar adventure. The tour staff will be waiting to greet you and help navigate through customs. They'll assist with currency exchange so you have local money on hand, and set up a local SIM card with data and calling credit already loaded for your entire stay.

Antananarivo to Andasibe
After breakfast, you'll head out on a guided visit to Ambohimanga Royal Palace, located just 20 km north of the capital. This historic site gives real insight into Madagascar's royal history. From there, the drive east to Andasibe takes about 130 km, but you'll spend the full day exploring this important cultural heritage area before settling into your accommodation for the night.

Andasibe
You're starting early around 7:30 AM for a guided visit to Analamazaotra National Park where you'll see Indri lemurs and other species found only in Madagascar in their forest environment. In the afternoon, Lemurs Island offers close encounters with different lemur groups, and then Vakona Reserve Zoo gives you a chance to see crocodiles and birds up close. The day finishes with a guided night walk starting at 6:30 PM to experience the forest after dark.

Andasibe to Antsirabe
The journey to Antsirabe includes several scenic stops along the way. You'll visit Peyreiras Park to see Cocquerel's Sifaka and different types of chameleons and reptiles. A stop in Ambatolampy lets you check out local aluminum pot manufacturers doing traditional work. After that, you'll drive through the Imerina highlands and reach Antsirabe by evening.

Antsirabe to Ranomafana
Traveling in the morning toward Ranomafana, you'll pass through the village of Ifanadiana with green landscapes all around. The road offers views of wildlife and the changing terrain as you head south. You'll arrive in Ranomafana late in the evening after this scenic drive.

Ranomafana
The morning involves trekking through Ranomafana National Park's rainforest for roughly 4 hours. You'll discover endemic species and rare plants while passing several waterfalls along the way. After lunch, there's time to relax at the natural spa source. At 5:30 PM, join a guided night walk to see how the forest changes after dark and spot nocturnal wildlife.

Ranomafana to Isalo
You're heading south on road RN7 toward Ranohira and Isalo National Park. Along the way, stop at Anja Reserve where wild ring-tailed lemurs roam freely and orchid species grow naturally. Continue driving to Isalo and you'll arrive in the evening, ready to settle in for the night.

Isalo
Today is dedicated to trekking through Isalo National Park and exploring its distinctive ruined massifs that date back to the Jurassic period. You'll walk to a natural pool perfect for swimming and have a picnic lunch in the park. The day ends at the Window of Isalo viewpoint where you can watch a spectacular sunset over the landscape.

Isalo to Ifaty
Traveling to Tuléar, the main city of southern Madagascar, you'll make a detour to Reniala Reserve to walk through the dry forest and see baobab species typical of this region. After that, continue north to Ifaty, a fishing village about 30 km from Tuléar, where you can relax on the beautiful lagoon beach and enjoy the southern coast.

Departure from Ifaty
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Antananarivo (you'll cover the flight cost). Once you arrive, visit the Queen's Palace, or Rova Manjakamiadana, perched on top of the hill for about 45 minutes to see the royal residence. Browse the craft market at La Digue to pick up souvenirs, then head to the airport for your international flight home.
