Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi
A pickup from central Delhi gets you to your hotel for settling in. Then you'll head out on a rickshaw ride through Old Delhi, moving through Chandi Chowk market with all its color and energy, passing the Kinari Bazar wedding market, the 400-year-old Jama Masjid, and stopping at Khari Baoli spice market where the aromas hit you immediately. From there you'll see the Red Fort and visit Mahatma Gandhi's cremation site. After that, New Delhi waits with India Gate, Parliament House, and the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib temple complex. The day wraps up with a walk through New Delhi's shopping center.

Delhi
Following breakfast, you'll continue with Delhi's UNESCO-listed monuments, starting at the Qutub Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret. Then comes Humayun's Tomb, which influenced later Mughal design including the Taj Mahal. You'll see the lotus-shaped Lotus Temple, which welcomes people of all faiths. By afternoon, head to Lodhi Road and explore Lodhi Garden with its ancient structures and royal tombs scattered throughout.

Delhi to Jaipur
After breakfast, you'll drive toward Jaipur, known as the pink city of the desert. The city earned this name from the former Maharaja Jai Singh. Once there, you'll walk through local sights including Galta Gi monkey temple, situated among the hills. The drive gives you time to settle in before exploring what the city has to offer.

Jaipur
With your guide after breakfast, you'll tackle Jaipur's major landmarks starting with Amber Fort set up in the hills. Then there's the City Palace complex, the Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory, and the royal Gaitor tombs. You'll stop for photos at Jal Mahal palace on the water. The iconic Hawa Mahal and its 1000 small windows come next, and you'll have time to browse Bapu Bazar market. If interested, Nahargarh Fort offers panoramic views of the city as an optional stop.

Jaipur to Agra
After breakfast, travel to Agra with stops along the way to see Fatehpur Sikri's palace and mosque complexes from Mughal times. You'll also visit Abhaneri step well, one of India's largest. Once in Agra, explore the Agra Fort, an UNESCO-listed monument and one of India's most notable forts. This evening you can optionally catch the Taj Mahal light show if interested.

Agra to Aurangabad
Head out early to see the Taj Mahal with your guide, the symbol of eternal love and one of the seven wonders of the world. After breakfast, you'll drive back to Delhi to catch a flight to Aurangabad. Upon arrival, a pickup takes you to your hotel for checking in.

Ajanta Caves
Following breakfast, you'll spend the full day at Ajanta Caves, 2nd-century Buddhist cave temples with beautiful frescoes, wall paintings, and vivid sculptures showing peak ancient Indian art and architecture. The horseshoe-shaped gorge holds 30 caves divided into two phases, each with different details to discover. You'll return to your hotel once the day winds down.

Ellora and Pithalkora Caves
After breakfast, you'll head to Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of India's finest rock-cut cave examples. The 34 caves include Cave 16 featuring the world's largest monolith sculpture of Lord Shiva. Later, drive about 78 km to Pithalkora Caves to see intricate sculptured facades. You'll get back to your hotel for the night.

Aurangabad to Departure
Starting after breakfast, you'll explore Daulatabad Fort, originally a Hindu stronghold called Devgiri Fort until Emperor Mohammed-bin-Tughlaq captured it in the 13th century and made it the Delhi Sultanate's second capital. Then visit Bibi-ka-Maqbara, built to honor Aurangzeb's wife Rabia Durrani, and see Panchakki (Water Mill), which shows Mughal engineering skill. Later in the day, you'll head to the airport for your departure flight.
