- AGehan· March 7th, 2023Amman; tour to the citadel; I spent only about 3 minutes near the building with huge Roman pillars. I asked another visitor to take a photo of mine. I rushed. Could not see the guide or anyone from our group. I rushed on at least 5 different directions. No luck. So many different groups. The clever guides had a little flag in their hands. Our guide had none. I got scared of missing the group. I abandoned the entire archaeological ruins. Rushed back to the gate. Stayed there for about 30-45 minutes until the group returned. While I was waiting, four other ladies in our group returned prematurely. They too said they missed our tour guide! My suggestion; (1) guides must walk at a slow pace, looking around most of the time looking for the tourists in his/ her group (2) MUST hold a flag with a unique colour and wear bright coloured shirt or similar costume (?fluorescent)Show moreTrip date: February 2023Review collected by Globus

- ACarol· March 2nd, 2023Excellent globus rep who met us at the airport and took us to get visas, luggage and to hotel. This globus rep, mohammed, and our driver, were superb and went above and beyond the call of duty when my traveling companion left her purse with passport and phone somewhere in the airport. Mohammed searched all around the airport and found it. Many commendations to these two. Also, our main guide throughout the trip, Sam Zyoud, was spectacular. He is knowledgeable about both jordanian history and culture. And, he was so well organized and kept the group well informed and cared for. He made the trip wonderful. Also, our bus driver, Mohammed Samer, was wonderful. The group was larger than we expected, which we didn't like at all. We were misled. Our hotel service and rooms in Amman and Petra were good. Service was great. Not so at the Movenpick Dead Sea. Our rooms were not in the main hotel building, which was inconvenient. And, the rooms weren't adequately stocked: no robes, broken lamp cord, no regular coffee (only decaf). The front desk staff was not particularly cordial or helpful. Globus needs to improve the quality and clarity of information provided about the trip. We were unaware that a globus representative would meet us and go with us to get our visa. We didn't know how simple the on arrival visa service is. And we didn't know the cost was covered by globus. Also, some people used the visa service recommended in globus materials and wound up paying a lot to use them. It angered them. They would have got it at the airport if they'd known a globus rep would meet them.Show moreTrip date: February 2023Review collected by Globus

- ASherry· February 4th, 2023While I mainly went to see Petra, there were so many other sites that were just as interesting like the ancient Roman city of Jerash and the location of Jesus' baptism. The guide was a font of historical knowledge that enhanced every location we went to. Jordan has a much religious history as Israel and has been inhabited for millennia.Show moreTrip date: January 2023Review collected by Globus
- AAlice· February 8th, 2023The overall experience was amazing and our tour guide was excellent. There was a few issues with accommodation that I would recommend addressing for future toursShow moreTrip date: January 2023Review collected by Globus
