Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha to Lake Manyara
A vehicle picks you up from Arusha and takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, getting you there with time to spare for lunch at camp. Once you've eaten, you'll head out on an afternoon game drive where you can look for elephants, tree-climbing lions, and flamingos. The park sits right at the base of the Great Rift Valley, which makes the landscape really dramatic.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti
After breakfast you're heading toward Serengeti National Park, driving through the highland farmland around Karatu and through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The route takes you down into the Seronera area, which is one of the richest spots for wildlife in the park, and you'll arrive with enough time for lunch. An afternoon game drive follows, where you'll travel across the open plains.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Breakfast comes first, then you're off to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a stop at Olduvai Gorge, a place where major finds about human evolution happened. You'll reach camp by lunchtime. After eating, you'll descend more than 600 meters down into the crater itself for a half-day safari where wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, lions, and elephants show up. Lake Magadi is on the itinerary too, where flamingos and hippos tend to gather.

Ngorongoro to Arusha
You'll go down to the crater floor after breakfast for one more game drive. Lunch comes as a picnic at Hippo Pool, then it's time to head back up to the rim. From there you're driven back to Arusha with drop-off at your hotel.
