Itinerary
- Day 1
Colombo to Ella
Your guide picks you up from your Colombo accommodation and drives you to Ella, which takes about 4 to 5 hours. You'll stop at Ravana Falls for photos along the way. After checking into your hotel in Ella, the rest of the evening is yours to walk around town and get a feel for the place.

- Day 2
Ella
After breakfast, you'll head to Adisham Bungalow to see the Tudor and Jacobean style country house that's now a monastery. From there, you'll walk over to the Nine Arch Bridge, a railway bridge surrounded by jungle and tea plantations. Later you can check out Ravana Cave, which has historical significance tied to local legend. You'll return to your hotel for the night.

- Day 3
Ella to Nuwara Eliya
Start early with a sunrise hike up Little Adam's Peak, an easy walk that gives you views across Ella's valleys and hills. Once you're back at your hotel for breakfast, you'll transfer to Nuwara Eliya, a colonial town with cool spring-like weather. You can see Gregory Lake, built back in 1873, and stop at Ramboda Falls, a 109-meter drop surrounded by jungle. Check in to your Nuwara Eliya hotel afterward.

Nuwara Eliya to Kandy
After breakfast you'll head to Kandy and visit a tea factory to see how tea grows and gets made, plus taste fresh Ceylon tea. You'll pass Ramboda Falls again for photos. In the evening, watch traditional Kandyan dance and drumming. Then you'll see the Kandy Tooth Temple (Sri Dalada Maligawa), which holds a Buddha tooth relic, and take a walk around Kandy Lake next to the temple.

Kandy to Sigiriya
Following breakfast, you'll travel toward Sigiriya. Stop at Kandy View Point for city views, then the Gem Museum and Wood Carving Center to learn about Sri Lankan gems and see carved work. At Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO site, you can walk through Buddhist murals and statues. Later there's a village experience with a cart ride through rural areas, a canoe ride on a lake, a traditional lunch made with local ingredients, and a tuk-tuk ride back. Check in to your Sigiriya hotel that evening.

Sigiriya to Colombo
Get up early and climb Sigiriya Lion Rock before sunrise for views from the top, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After breakfast at your hotel, you'll start heading back to Colombo. On the way you can choose between a safari at a national park to see wildlife and elephants, or an Ayurveda massage and shopping in Colombo for souvenirs. Your driver will drop you in Colombo by late evening, ending your tour.
