Itinerary
- Day 1
Rome
You'll land at Fiumicino Airport and head to your hotel in central Rome. After dropping off your bags, a guided walking tour takes you through the historic center, hitting the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. Back at the hotel you'll freshen up, then head out for dinner at a traditional trattoria serving authentic Roman food.

- Day 2
Rome
Hotel pickup happens early for your ancient Rome tour. You'll use skip-the-line access to get through the Colosseum and explore where gladiators and emperors once ruled. From there, walk through the Roman Forum's atmospheric ruins. Later you transfer to Vatican City with VIP tickets to skip queues at the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. You'll pick either San Giovanni in Laterano or Santa Maria Maggiore basilica to visit. Then you wander through the historic Jewish Ghetto, checking out Piazza Mattei and its Turtle Fountain. A guided food tour through Trastevere wraps up the day with Roman street food and aperitivo drinks.

Rome to Florence
Travel to Florence by luxury air-conditioned minivan with scenic stops through Tuscan towns. You stop in Pienza, the Renaissance ideal city and UNESCO site, for a leisurely walk through stone streets. You'll arrive in Florence by late afternoon and check into your hotel.

Florence

Travel to Lucca, surrounded by well-preserved Renaissance walls. You'll wander the leafy ramparts and cobbled streets, finding Romanesque churches and small piazzas. The tour covers composer Giacomo Puccini's life and work. You return to Florence for your final evening.
