- Qwayne· May 29th, 2025For the second time, I've chosen the team at Unuraymi, and again, I've not been disappointed. James and Edwin are outstanding and cared for us above and beyond expectations. The whole walk and the navigating the process of acquiring tickets for Machu Picchu became a surprising, exciting part of the memorable experience. For anyone wishing to travel with confidence in a local team, James and Edwin are the way to go. Their connections are knowledgeable, kind, and willing to share their passion for their communities and cultures. We are blessed to be invited to encounter the people and nature in such a unique way. Thank you for everything, team! I will be back!Show more
- Devanand· April 10th, 2025Well-organized. James and Edwin were constantly in touch to ensure things ran smoothly. Because of bad weather our flight from Lima to Cuzco was cancelled but they were on top of the problem and immediately rebooked us. The beauty of sacred valley and Machu Picchu can't be described in words. One needs to visit to appreciate. Our guide Herbert in Machu Picchu was outstanding, very knowledgeable and made the tour stand out.Show more

Asked on March 21st, 2024do you still have 1 slot available for 12 April for the classic Inca trail?
- Unu Raymi ExpeditionsOperator•Written March 2024
Unfortunately, all permits for the inca trail have sold out now for April. We can offer one of the trek routes below as an alternative for your trek, which are all very good treks also.

Asked on March 21st, 2022Are there extra costs?
- Unu Raymi ExpeditionsOperator•Written March 2022
We are having to revise some of our trip prices this year in light of rising petrol & commodity costs post-pandemic. We will be happy to help you also if you require any hotels or domestic flight reservations for your trip. We strongly recommend arriving to Cusco, at least 2 to 3 days prior to any trek so you can acclimatise properly and also to enjoy the City. The inca trail climbs to around 4,800m, so it's a reasonably serious trek and without the proper period of acclimatisation altitude sickness can become a problem.
