- EEd· July 2nd, 2025Upon arrival; at the airport arrival the driver did not have our names displayed or on his list as per the documentation we received. There was no early check in available at the hotel even though the flights booked by the tour company have you arrive around 9 am. The chosen hotel was overwhelmed and unable to provide advice on where to go and what to do for the next 5 or 6 hours. Our tour guide spoke very little English ( found out later it was her first tour in English), she had poor social skills, gave close to no direction and didn't provide any guided tours for the group, instead we are told limited information and that we are on our own. The bus driver and guide were much more interested in smoking rather than working with their clients. The first included dinner was embarrassingly poor quality. Later included lunches were highly disorganized, overcrowded ( multiple buses from VPT tour company), and average quality at best.. One included lunch had better food but no fish option even though we were told an hour before that we could have fish or chicken Luggage handling was always disorganized and chaotic because no direction is given as to where to place bags, stand or wait. One optional excursion was to be canceled until the tour group collectively revolted. 5 days into the tour I expressed my concerns using the emergency contact were were provided. This feedback went to VPT the contract tour operator and they told me my issues need to go through my booking agent , Wing Buddy. I didn't notice any changes in the operation of the tour based on my feedback but do know they identified me to the tour guide since she approached me. Very unprofessional , rather than providing constructive feedback they mentioned me to the guide. On the plus side , rooms were clean, check ins organized, we had some great local guides and breakfasts were good. In talking with others on the tour, most if not all, were disappointed with the tour.. The bad far outweighed the good and for that reason we will never use Wing Buddy again. My advice is to spend your travel dollars elsewhere and save yourself the stress. Wing Buddy clearly contracts out the tours and therefore cannot influence quality like other tour companies like Trafalgar.Show moreTrip date: June 2025

- ACRYSTAL JANE RUIZ· October 26th, 2024I thought this tour was really good. We stayed together as a group and got to know many of the people. The hotels were very nice, the breakfasts were great. Most of the food was really good. Maria our Tour Guide was really great, keeping us all on track, letting us know historical facts, foods from each region and cultural facts. The tour was pretty fast paced, but we saw a lot and places we probably wouldn’t have gotten to on our own. We appreciated being picked up every morning and drive to each destination, then picked up again and onto our next. If we were tired, we were able to sleep on the bus. All the sights we saw in Spain and Portugal were amazing and gave us a good feel for both countries. Following the Wingbuddy tour, we had 9 days on our own before our next Wingbuddy tour in Italy, and had to find our way to each hotel, taxis, etc. We were happy to be back with a tour that made almost all the arrangements for us, so we could just focus on enjoying the sights and experiences arranged for us.Show moreTrip date: September 2024Review collected by Wingbuddy

Please note that there is no bathroom accessible in the bus. However, the bus makes frequent stops. You can bring 1 carry-on and 1 suitecase of 23KG / person on the bus.
