Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You'll get picked up from your hotel in Arusha and sit through a safari briefing before heading out to Tarangire National Park. Your first game drive takes you across the park's wide open spaces where you'll start spotting wildlife right away. After lunch, you head back out for an afternoon drive before settling into camp for the night.

Lake Manyara National Park
Following breakfast, you transfer to Lake Manyara National Park where bird watching is particularly good. One of the rare treats here is spotting tree-climbing lions, and you'll also see pink flamingos hanging around the lake shore. Lunch happens at a picnic site, then you head back to camp.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you travel toward Serengeti National Park, passing through Ngorongoro on the way. Once you arrive at the park, game driving starts right away across the open plains. You'll see huge herds of wildebeest and zebra, plus gazelles, elephants, giraffes, and buffalo scattered throughout. Predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs are out hunting too. Lunch is a picnic meal while you watch the action unfold around you.

Serengeti National Park
You've got the whole day in Serengeti with two separate game drives. The morning one happens after breakfast, and then you head out again in the late afternoon. You'll be looking for buffalo, hippos, elephants, giraffes, and different types of antelope. If it's migration season, you might catch the wildebeest migration happening. Lions, leopards, and cheetahs are always worth watching for.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
An early game drive in Serengeti kicks things off after breakfast, with a picnic lunch that keeps you out until around noon. You get another drive in the afternoon to see more of the park's landscape, and then you start traveling toward Ngorongoro Crater. Dinner and your overnight stay happen once you arrive there.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
You'll wake up early around 5:50 am for breakfast, then descend into the crater at 6 am for a 6 to 7 hour game drive. The crater is a World Heritage Site with resident wildlife that stays year-round thanks to good grazing and water sources. You'll have a picnic lunch on the crater floor, and by afternoon you're heading back to Arusha for your airport drop-off.
