Casablanca to Rabat
You'll arrive at Mohamed V Airport in Casablanca and connect with your guide for the transfer to Rabat. The capital city blends European design with ancient roots dating back through Phoenician and Roman periods. After exploring the mix of old and new throughout the day, you'll head to Ain Aouda village for dinner and your first night at camp.

Rabat to Ouazzane to Chefchaouen to Talassemtane National Park
Following breakfast, the route takes you across back roads through the Rif Mountains toward Ouazzane for a guided tour of the city. You'll grab lunch at the central Shish Kabab market, and from there it's on to Chefchaouen with its distinctive blue buildings. An afternoon trek up Mount Akchour leads to your overnight spot in the cedar forest within Talassemtane National Park.

The drive continues through 17th-century Meknes before reaching Fez, an imperial city dating to the ninth century. An introductory evening tour covers the old walled city, ramparts, gates, and Moorish forts, followed by dinner at your hotel.

Fez
Fez takes up your entire day as you move through its medieval Islamic streets that feel frozen in time. Starting at the King's Palace, you'll walk the ramparts and gates, then explore the 15th-century Jewish quarter with its Sephardic synagogues and Rabbi mausoleums. Merinides Hill gives you panoramic views of the old city, and you'll pass through historic gates and bazaars watching craftspeople work leather, metal, and saddles. Lunch break happens mid-day, then you continue through souks and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idris. The evening includes traditional mint tea at a local family home before heading back to your hotel for dinner.

- Day 5
Fez to Middle Atlas to Merzouga
You'll travel through the Middle Atlas mountains, passing Imouzzer and Ifrane on the way to Azrou, a significant Berber market town. A cedar forest visit offers chances to see Berber apes and possibly nomadic families who'll share mint tea with you. Dramatic mountain landscapes lead to Midelt for lunch with views stretching across the valleys. Later, the terrain shifts from green slopes to red desert as you approach Erfoud. Meeting a camel caravan, you'll ride across the Merzouga dunes to camp. After dinner, Rokba drummers provide entertainment with traditional dances and chants.
