Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Kathmandu

    You'll land at the airport where someone will be waiting with your name on a sign, then head to your hotel in downtown Thamel. After you get settled, the rest of the day is free to walk around the neighborhood and get a feel for the city's streets and local shops.

  2. Day 2

    Kathmandu to Pokhara

    The bus leaves Kathmandu early for the drive to Pokhara, winding through hills with green fields and terraced farmland on both sides. Once you arrive, check into your hotel and spend the evening strolling through Pokhara's center, checking out the local atmosphere.

  3. Day 3

    Nayapul to Tikhedhunga

    Your guide picks you up and drives to Nayapul (1050m) where the trek starts. From there, walk through old villages and past rice terraces on an easy path that goes through greenery until you reach Tikhedhunga by late afternoon.

  4. Day 4

    Tikhedhunga to Banthati

    Climb gradually up to Ulleri (2070m), a Magar village where you can talk with locals and see how they live. After leaving Ulleri, the trail levels out as you head toward Banthati (2300m), passing through meadows and getting views of the Himalayan peaks.

  5. Day 5

    Banthati to Ghorepani via Poon Hill

    Start before dawn to reach Poon Hill (3210m) for the sunrise over Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and surrounding mountains. The views stretch across the entire range from up here. Head back down to Ghorepani for breakfast by mid-morning.

  7. Day 7

    Tadapani to Chhomrong

    Walk through areas with rice fields and small farming settlements, then drop down to cross the Kimrung Khola River. From there, climb up to reach Chhomrong by early afternoon where you can see Fishtail and Annapurna South from your camp.

    Leave Chhomrong in the morning, cross the Kaddorie Bridge, then descend steeply down to Jhinu Danda. Once there, spend the afternoon and evening soaking in the natural hot springs near the Modi Khola river.

    Pothana to Australian Base Camp

    • For any tour departing before February 13th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
