Itinerary
- Day 1
Tirana
The airport transfer gets you to Tirana, and then the rest of the day is yours to spend however you like. Wander around the city at your own pace, grab a meal somewhere local, or just relax after your flight and get your bearings before things pick up tomorrow.
- Day 2
Heraclea Lyncestis - Bitola
After breakfast, you're heading to Ohrid to check out Sveti Naum Monastery, which sits right on Lake Ohrid with views that stretch across the water. From there, the route takes you through apple orchards and then to Bitola. Along the way, you'll stop at Heraclea Lyncestis to walk through the old Roman site and see the mosaics, theater, and bath ruins before settling in for the night.

- Day 3
Meteora - Kalambaka
Eat breakfast and then travel to Kastoria to walk around its waterfront mansions and old Byzantine churches. Later you'll head to Meteora, where the monasteries sit perched about 1,000 feet up on rock formations that rise right out of the valley. By evening you're in Kalambaka with those dramatic rock formations surrounding the town.

- Day 4
Arta - Preveza
The day starts by heading through the mountains to Metsovo, a small village worth seeing. Then it's on to Arta for a walking tour covering the historic bridge, monasteries, and Byzantine church there. After lunch, you'll get to Nikopolis, the ancient city Augustus founded back in 31 BC, and have time to explore the ruins and archaeological remains.

Parga
Head to Lefkada Town, the island's capital, where a free walking tour takes you through what's basically a typical Greek city with all the regular character. After that, travel to Parga, a coastal town with a castle overlooking it and beaches to check out. It's worth spending time wandering the town and getting down to the water if the weather's nice.

- Day 6
Corfu Island
Following breakfast, drive to Igoumenica and board a ferry to Corfu Island. Once you arrive, a walking tour through Corfu Town shows you how Venetian, British, and French rule left its mark on the place. The medieval streets have stories to tell if you take time to notice the architecture and layout of the old city.

Ioannina
Early morning ferry takes you from Corfu back to Igoumenitsa, and then you'll drive to Ioannina, the regional capital. There you can visit the lake and the monasteries on its island, then head out to Dodoni to see the oracle sanctuary, one of the oldest religious sites in Greece and recognized as a UNESCO location.

Tirana
After eating, head to Gjirokaster, a UNESCO site since 2005. Walk around the city, check out the castle and weapons museum, then make the drive back to Tirana for your last evening before heading home.
