Arrival in Kigali
Your guide will meet you and drive you to your hotel in Kigali. Once you arrive, settle in, have dinner, and get some rest for the night.

Kigali City Tour
Start the day at the Genocide Memorial, then continue to the Campaign Against Genocide Museum. From there, head through Kimironko market and check out the Inema Arts Center, Kandt House Museum, and Camp Kigali Memorial. Later in the afternoon, you'll go horse riding on Mt. Kigali to catch views over the city. Have dinner back in Kigali and spend the night there.

Kigali to Akagera National Park
Morning transfer takes you toward Akagera National Park. Along the way, stop for an Imigongo cultural tour and visit Rusumo Waterfalls to see both the falls and the Tanzania border. Continue on to Akagera and settle in for the night.

Akagera National Park
Spend your day on a game drive through Akagera National Park. You'll see zebras, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, and baboons as you drive around. Stay overnight in the park.

Akagera National Park to Kigali
Start with a morning boat trip on Lake Ihema. After that, join a one-hour community tour activity. Then drive back toward Kigali and spend the night there.

Kigali to Musanze
Travel to Musanze, stopping at Kirenge Cultural Village and Sina Gerard Museum along the way. Grab lunch, then spend your afternoon at the Twin Lakes. Stay overnight in Musanze.

Gorilla Trekking
Have breakfast and head to the Volcanoes National Park office by 7:00 am for a briefing before gorilla trekking. You'll spend the morning tracking gorillas through the forest. In the afternoon, visit Ibyiwacu Cultural Village. Overnight back in Musanze.

Musanze to Rubavu
Transfer to Rubavu for the day. You'll hike up Mt. Rubavu, do a city tour, and experience local culture. Stay overnight in Rubavu.

Rubavu to Karongi

Karongi to Gisakura
Head to Nyungwe National Park today. On the way, visit the Bisesero Genocide Memorial and spend some time in Rusizi town relaxing by the lake. Settle in for the night in Gisakura.

Nyungwe National Park
Early breakfast, then set out on a chimpanzee trekking adventure in Nyungwe National Park. After lunch, you'll experience the canopy walkway in the afternoon. Overnight in Gisakura.

Gisakura

Departure
On your way back to Kigali, visit the Huye National Ethnographic Museum, King's Palace Museum, and Kamegeri Rock. Stop at Kabgayi Basilica before you're dropped off at Kigali International Airport or your hotel in Kigali.
