- Day 1
Athens to Palaia Epidauros
Start the day with a pickup from your hotel, airport, or marina in Athens. From there, head toward the Corinthia region where you'll see the Corinth Canal and the Ancient Diolkos. Stop at the Archaeological site of Ancient Corinth to walk around the Temple of Apollo and get a sense of what this important ancient city looked like. Grab lunch at a local tavern, then continue east to Palaia Epidauros, a quiet coastal town where you'll settle in for the night.

- Day 2
Palaia Epidauros to Nafplio
This morning visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Epidaurus, which has one of the finest ancient theaters in Greece. Spend time at the Sanctuary of Asklepios, an important healing center from the 4th century BC. After lunch at a local tavern, drive to Argos to see the Hellenistic theatre, the Ancient Agora, Roman Odeon, and Baths. By evening, you'll arrive in Nafplio, Greece's first capital, where you'll check in for two nights.

Nafplio (Mycenae and Tiryns)
After breakfast, head to Mycenae to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site dating to the 14th-13th century BC. Walk through the Bronze Age ruins, see the famous Lion Gate, and learn about the Mycenaean civilization at its peak. Later, continue to Tiryns to see another important Mycenaean center known for its massive Cyclopean walls and palace remains. Return to Nafplio in the evening with free time to wander the city on your own.

Nafplio to Sparta
Start in Nafplio by visiting its three Venetian fortresses. First, climb to the 18th-century Palamidi fortress for views over the city. Next, see the ancient Akronafplia fortress that once protected the walled town. Then take a boat out to Bourtzi, a 15th-century island fortress sitting in the harbor. Later, drive south toward Sparta to visit the archaeological site, including the Acropolis, the statue of King Leonidas, and Roman and Byzantine baths.

Spend the day at Mystras, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built amphitheater-style around a 13th-century fortress. Have lunch at a local tavern, then travel to Monemvasia, a striking coastal town built on a massive rock and connected by causeway.
